Re: Logan Cup records
Hope this is of interest. It sure is man, Thanks for the post. Love the Stats, they put everything into perspective. That boy Timycen Maruma sure is good. I only hope he gets a national team call up soon. Whatever happened to Richie Sims??? Stuart Matsikenyeri has overtaken Mark vermeulen as the Lo...

Re: Logan Cup records
Thanks for these cricket_22001. It takes a lot of passion and meticulous compilation to do this for a period of time. Thanks. My wife says I should get a life! Since there is a break in the Logan Cup, I thought I would provide a few stats. Vusi Sibanda's 215 was the 21 instance of a double hundred ...

Re: [Match Thread] Intercontinental Cup - Zimbabwe XI v Kenya
A very good win by a second string Zim, I wonder is it indicative of how far Zim have developed in terms of strength and depth or how far Kenya have slipped. As an overseas observer, I offer my humble opinion. Yes, there is a big case for Kenya's slipping. But Zimbabweans should be pleased with you...

Re: Big news!!!! Chris silverwood signs for zim province side
Its quite ironic how a Zimbo is coaching the English side and how Englishmen seem the be finding thier way into Zimbabwe Cricket. I hope this well help improve relations between ZC and ECB. While a Zimbabwean coaches England (again) who hold the ashes, I wonder how this will improve Australian/Zimb...

Re: Logan Cup records
There have been some big movers in the statistics for the alltime 1st class Logan Cup records even after only 3 rounds. So, I thought I would share a few since there is a break till the next round. As at the end of round 3, Hamilton Masakadza, Chigumbura &Taibu have all passed 2,000 Logan Cup runs. ...

Re: Logan Cup records
Sorry, I will clarify. Since the Logan Cup gained first class status in 1993/94 I have been (on an amateur basis) been collating my own statistical records. Yes, according to my records, Mark Vermeulen has overtaken the previous all time first class logan cup leading run getter, Grant Flower, since ...

Logan Cup records
I have seen cricinfo's scorecard for the Rhino's/Tuskers game & after round 1 there are some significant records to note. Mark Vermeulen is now the Logan Cup leading rungetter after his 47 & 73. Prosper Utseya passed 100 wickets (3rd all time) Hamilton Masakadza passed 2000 runs & brother Shingi pas...

Re: Wicket-Keepers
Isn't Innocent Chikunya a wicketkeeper? Perhaps he kept for Rhinos. He has 21 catches in 10 first class matches. As a fledging statistican I find Zimbabwe cricket the most frustrating in terms of wicketkeepers as so many cricketrs have multi skilled. In the 80's Dave Houghton, Gerald Peckover & Robi...
