Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v South Africa, 2nd T20

Shamsi has been really a disappointment for South Africa. Looks clueless after going for sixes and lacks variety these days. He was a bit different when he burst into the scene back in 2016.

I'm sending Mavuta now with Williams gone.

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v South Africa, 2nd T20

I saw Murray’s twitter- basically disappointed that he wasn’t selected, meaning he was available. I had thought that perhaps he had exams. We keep overlooking Burl as well. I’m telling you this guy is a good player. He’s had a poor start but he has the capacity to play at this level. It’s an import...

Re: Time to handover captaincy to Sikandar Raza and build new team

I would have definitely handed over the captaincy to Sikandar Raza. Raza & Taylor should form the leadership core of the team.

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 1st T20

Look no further than Robbie Frylinck as a big unit. Serious bowler. I’m sure he played for Proteas but I’m not seeing that on google. Why aren’t they picking Chris Morris for these T20’s? I wonder what’s happened to Marchand De Lange and Philander? I’d pick Morris and Philander ahead of Phehlukwayo...

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v South Africa, 2nd T20

1. Hamilton (C) 2. Mire 3. Taylor 4. Moor 5. Williams 6. Musakanda 7. Chibhabha 8. Mavuta 9. Wellington 10. Jarvis 11. Mpofu If Mire is injured, I won't want Chibhabha to open again as his performance has been disappointing along with Elton inspite of being senior players. Rather look at younger guy...

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 1st T20

The best thing about Mavuta is that he is a fighter who never looks like giving up. He tries his best even with the bat.

Was that Vermeulen in the crowd??
Yeah, I also identified him. After Shamsi's last over, right ? After he went for 4 sixes by Moor. It is surely Mark Vermeulen who looked very excited because of the sixes of Moor.

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 1st T20

No Mire but Chigumbura still plays. :o :o :o

Mpofu has been picked ahead of Chatara. Maybe going over 7+ rpo in the 3rd ODI cost Chatara his place. But he was among the wickets in the ODI series, also has a figure of 3/20 (4) in his last T20I appearance vs Afg.

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 1st T20

My XI:

1 Hamilton (C)
2 Mire
3 Musakanda
4 Taylor
5 Williams
6 Moor (WK)
7 Chibhabha
8 Chisoro
9 Mavuta
10 Jarvis
11 Chatara

It's disappointing not to have Murray and Kamunhukamwe in the T20I squad.

Re: 2018 Asia Cup (in UAE)

I have always believed Mohammad Shehzad is the best batsman of Afghanistan. This guy can really scare the bowlers. He's a hack. No technique, decent temperament surprisingly (probably due to age), but the positions he gets in to play basic strokes is hilarious. He's a 20 average batsman. Yes he hit...
