Re: North-South Regional T20 Series | 12th-14th Apr 2022

I would have the following line-up for T20 qualifiers

1)Shumba
2)Kaitano
3)Chakabva
4)Ervine
5)Williams
6)Raza
7)Burl
8)Jongwe
9) Wellington or Masara
10)Muzarabani
11)Ngarava

12th Wesley Madhevere, 13th Munyonga, 14th T Chivanga, 15th B Evans, 16th C Madande

Re: North-South Regional T20 Series | 12th-14th Apr 2022

Bold call but Marasa looks more threatening than any of the spin bowlers in the domestic game apart from Wellington. But have leapt ahead of Mavuta and Ndlovu now. Agreed, Masara seems to have more variations in his arsenal than any other Zim spinners right now. Would be a good addition to the T20 ...

I was a bit surprised too to see Tari playing when I saw the scorecard on cricinfo 😁
The guy did intentionally ran over that poor soul so stop acting as if you are surprised. Why don't you walk in his shoes?

Re: Domestic T20 Thread 2022 | 24th-30th March

What I find is absolutely backyardish and amateurish is that when a recognized batter bats with a tailer-ender specially a number 10 or 11 with many overs to be played, he has to make sure not to expose the tail-ender as much as possible. I have seen this instance many times with Zim batters. Today ...

Re: Domestic T20 Thread 2022 | 24th-30th March

Ngarava is firing on all Cylinders, seems like he is bowling at speed in high 130kmph. He has improved a lot, the duo of Ngarava and Muzarabani will keep the pace department in good stead for next 7 to 8 years if they stick around.

I am praying that PJ will play some incredible knocks to make ZC think again.

Re: Domestic T20 Thread 2022 | 24th-30th March

As much as I hate Chibhabha, he is miles ahead of Kamunhukamwe. Chibhabha can tackle pacers well. If I had to choose between Chibhabha and Kamunhukamwe, I would choose Chibhabha any day even though I do not want to see both of them in the national side ever again.

Re: Domestic T20 Thread 2022 | 24th-30th March

I do not see any hope that Kamunhukamwe will improve his batting. Nothing against him but he is the worst version of Solomon Mire, there is similarities in terms of batting stance but he can not buy any runs like Solomon does. He is terrible against spinners, there is no strike rotation at all when ...

Re: Domestic T20 Thread 2022 | 24th-30th March

ZC think-tank must consider talking PJ Moor into coming back to the national side, he is 31 and I think the time is not on his side to try to get into that Irish side. He will be a very valuable asset, with T20 qualifiers around the corner, and the fact that Taylor is gone for good. The lad can hit ...
