Re: [Match Thread] Warm up game Zimbabwe v BCBXI

Cephas isn’t in Bangladesh. Just heard. These selectors continue to screw us. Him in Bangladesh would’ve been the one place where he would’ve probably been a world beater. He would’ve absolutely killed those left arm spinners. But hay, at least Elton is there.

Vigne Cup 2018/19

The cricket season kicks off this Sunday with the Vigne Cup commencing. Should be an interesting season as almost all franchise players play in it and opportunities aren’t limited to the privileged few, like in franchise. Week 1 sees : Royal vs Old Malvernians Rainbow vs Takashinga 1 White Rhinos vs...

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 1st T20

Chatara is quite built. Trust me there. Jarvis is ripped. The rest are pretty insignificantly built. Rabada is pretty slim, he’s about 6’3, and he just has super long arms. I’ve spoken to him a bit before, he’s a real orangutan with those arms.

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 1st T20

Sloan, Mavuta was excellent tonight. FairPlay. But he was average during the ODIs and drags too many balls down, but credit where it’s due tonight. The way Faf handled Chisoro was genius. Chisoro has a T20I economy of 6 for a reason though. He literally almost bowled every ball to Faf and I think wo...

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 1st T20

Get Chigumbura and Mavuta away from your damn squads. Mavuta will be massacred with his standard 3 longhops an over. The only hard decision comes with what order Mire, Hami, and Chamu should bat in the top 3. Murray isn’t in the squad I don’t think . I just don’t think Madziva is good enough. I’ve w...

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 1st ODI

Did they play some sort of warm up? The commentator who was hyping Mavuta up said he had seen in a warmup that batsmen couldnt pick his googly. How would he have known that? They were referring to the pre-match warm up. It might have been Ntini saying it, what a terrible commentator he is btw. I wa...
