Re: [MATCH THREAD] ZIM v UAE WCQ

ICC and the world also got a skewed opinion about the state of our cricket here. They actually think it’s popular. Great days, great vibe, but it’s not part of our DNA. If we’d charged a dollar entrance those stands would have been half full. Sad but true. Nobody bother arguing. Oh I couldn't agree...

Re: [MATCH THREAD] ZIM v UAE WCQ

I admit. I didn't think that we'd qualify at the beginning of the tournament, but to come so close and fail hurts. Are we South Africa in drag? I also tend to agree with Googly. These chaps are the best we have and there isn't much we can do about it. We DO have some good 'uns - just not enough, as ...

Re: ZC, employee pay in trouble, grounds being upgraded

Sorry Pariah but I don't rate Makoni at all. He has been extremely harmful to Zimbabwean cricket, as has Bvute. I don't rate AC either to be honest. Chingoka is a funny one - I think his heart was in the right place (initially) but he had such idiots around him all the time that things fell apart an...

Re: ZC, employee pay in trouble, grounds being upgraded

winning more games would lead to us to world cup qualification which i believe is worth almost 10 million dollars. winning more games will attract better opposition. you would see the Big 3 touring us. that brings more people to the ground(I remember HSC was absolutely packed for that S.A. and Aust...

Re: ZC, employee pay in trouble, grounds being upgraded

I'm not sure that improved results would necessarily translate into increased revenue. Where does that idea come from? What do you mean? Sponsorships? Or are you saying people like India and England will want to play us? As far a Manase, Mukhuhlani, Makoni, et al. go - what benefit are they bringing...

Re: Boxing Day: Waller, Williams out; Burl, Blessing, Chatara in?

No one here has put Mire on a pedestal. That is why that comment is misleading and distasteful - also towards Ervine, if you choose to see through his sadistic comment. Mire is getting a chance, like any other. I'm not saying he deserves a go ahead of others and many others have debated bringing Ch...
