Re: Afghanistan tour announced No Test match !!!!

Not to mention being 74/5 at home against Sri Lanka! Keep them coming. I guess this goes back all the way to SL's tour of Zimbabwe a year and a half ago. I was frustrated that our batsmen were giving wickets to Suranga Lakmal, who had no pedigree whatsoever. And he seems to have turned the right sw...

Re: Zimbabwe Coup underway?

Zimbabweans are fed up and quite frankly we dont care what SADC or AU think. Mugabe has destroyed the country along with his pals, and the people will no longer stand for this. Remember, the people are bigger than any leader. So what have you been waiting for? Visas to SA*, Botswana*, UK, US, Canad...

Re: Zimbabwe Coup underway?

The army don't even need to overthrow Mugabe now. ZANU-PF will do it themselves. Mugabe has no support whatsoever from any group of Zimbabwean society, not even from fellow Zanoids. So why did the army intervene if the numbers were hugely in favour of Mnangagwa? As much as Zimbabwe has a constituti...

Re: Zimbabwe Coup underway?

Why has it taken this long to oust Mugabe? Mugabe hasn't been ousted!!! Army was already ruling together with Mugabe. He legitimised that rule. Everyone here knows that and has said so. Problem is, army generals must be replaced or retire at some point, while Mugabe and those aligned with him can c...

Re: Zimbabwe A Tour Of UAE for 5 unofficial odis

It's pretty clear that Maruma has gotten starts, same with Chisoro and Masvaure, but perhaps they've been playing the role of chasing the game. ZA-UAE - Copy.png In such games, Chibhabha, Maruma and Masvaure shoul dreally be batitng higher than the rest of the guys. Chibhabha is already doing so - n...

Re: Afghanistan tour announced No Test match !!!!

Cricket in Zimbabwe is dead. Those who are into Formula 1, read this as though Kimi Raikonen is saying this to his race engineer on Radio - Abu Dhabi 2012 Good one, but you could have picked better moments to use that one... By the way, we can also claim that cricket in India is dead in the long ru...

Re: Zimbabwe Coup underway?

...the Zimbabwe army has let this slip away. This will either go down as the worst failed coup in history, or there's some brilliant tactical manoeuvres happening in the background here . Where is Mnangagwa? Keep hoping. If this pulls through the only manouvre will be irreversible pain for Zimbabwe...

Re: Zimbabwe Coup underway?

In Paris, the head of the African Union, Guinea’s President Alpha Conde, warned that the continent “will never accept the military coup d’etat” in Zimbabwe and called for a return to the “constitutional order” . “(Problems) need to be resolved politically by the ZANU-PF party and not with an interv...

Re: Afghanistan tour announced No Test match !!!!

Cricket in Zimbabwe is dead. No better than Kenya or Namibia whose contests with their peers actually have relevance and context.

Anyway, lets watch Taylor and Jarvis repay the monies that bankrupted ZC.
