Ngarava is back after a niggle which is good.
Can't drop Akram after his innings. Maybe jongwe gets dropped and bowl the 3 pacers.
Who bats up top?

Re: ZC clears Madhevere, Mavuta to return after completing drugs ban
I'm a little concerned about Mavuta as he implied he was becoming addicted to the drug. I know he had alcohol issues before also. Maybe some longer term work and relapse prevention is needed.

Would not mind Raza at number 3 or Burl. Give them some licence in power play.

Re: Match Thread: 3rd T20 Zimbabwe v Bangladesh (7th May 2024)
South African former cricketer HP ackerman has made the statement that Zimbabwe has all the pieces of the puzzle but in all the wrong places.
Maybe adds some weight to bizarre selections and people like Raza and Burl not moving up order.

Re: 2nd 20/20 Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe may 5th
... And anyone thinking modern T20 cricket needs anchors like Gumbie (T20 ffs!!) is probably living in 1970s. Even if someone is an 'anchor', that player also keeps taking singles and twos, and keeps the scoreboard ticking. You won't see him 4 (19) in the powerplay, that was probably acceptable in ...

Re: 2nd 20/20 Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe may 5th
Campbell and Bennett need to play every single match from here on in regardless of a loss of form which will happen. I see Jono brother Mathew smashed a 120 in a regional side match recently. He is one for future and a good bowler too. Imagine Brian's twin brother getting back into game and the welc...

Re: 2nd 20/20 Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe may 5th
In lots of ways Campbell has been made to wait for his chance in national side but for other nations this is the norm. That's probably why years of domestic cricket and sporadic matches against touring sides has moulded him into a great player. Sure marumani and madhevere might have had a free pass ...

Re: 2nd 20/20 Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe may 5th
I think Burl was unlucky to be dropped. He had a bad game in 1st 20/20 but he has been in really good form in domestic 20/20 including an excellent 50 against Durham. Would like to see him bat up the order and perhaps leave Campbell where he is at moment. Don't dick the new guy around too much. Raza...

Re: 2nd 20/20 Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe may 5th
If Campbell and bennet continue on their merry way the Raza opening gambit is not a bad idea at all.
