Re: Afghanistan Test & T20 Squad (No BT & Craig)

If the intention is to go with 8 batsmen then Nyauchi might be a better pick than Tiripano as the third fast bowler.

Re: Afghanistan Test & T20 Squad (No BT & Craig)

They should have added a relegation match

Re: Afghanistan Test & T20 Squad (No BT & Craig)

Looking back what did we really miss from the Test Championship? Bangladesh have only played 5 games so far and lost all 5. COVID really showed us that the big teams have only wanted to play each other anyway

Re: Afghanistan Test & T20 Squad (No BT & Craig)

Rashid Khan missing is the equalizer we needed after losing BT and Ervine. It’s going to be a lot closer now.

I see Kasuza is doing well whilst Tari and Prince got out early. Multiple options available. It won’t be an easy team to pick even with half of the top guys missing

Re: Afghanistan Test & T20 Squad (No BT & Craig)

If Wellington is our best spin option, well we already knew we have serious problems, but this is now laughable. Clearly ZC has not spend any time in actually looking to develop players. To be honest, I just look at that squad and feel flat. Is Mutumbami also the best wk option we have? You just ma...

Re: Kyle Jarvis survives Covid 19

If they all had Covid then I suspect BT and Ervine pulled positive tests and Williams pulled a false negative (this has been happening a lot here). This is why they probably didn’t get into camp and Williams did What they should have then done was to put BT and Ervine in isolation separately from th...

Re: Kyle Jarvis survives Covid 19

Craig and BT were stitched up and apparently are very bleak about what ZC have done. No real suprise. ZC seem to be addicted to leaving out at least 3 key players for any given tour, so, shocker. Yes I have heard the same, appears that ZC refused to allow them to join the bubble even after negative...

Re: Northerns v Southerns

Raza's bowling has gone downhill, Maruma taking him apart and looking like Gary Sobers in the process. One thing I like about this live streaming is that people will then see for themselves why someone like Maruma keeps getting picked even though he keeps failing at the highest level. I was surpris...

Re: Kyle Jarvis survives Covid 19

Interestingly when ZC released their squad press statement they mentioned why the key players were unavailable except for Jarvis. I saw a screenshot so maybe he was mentioned in the full thing but if he wasn’t then it might be a sign that maybe he isn’t part of the plans anymore. He is 32 now too. A...
