Re: Andy Waller confirmed as coach

you expect improvement after a few weeks!? Between club, franchise and 'A' groups, pretty much every player in the current setup has been extensively coached by Steve at some point or another. He's not new to any of them. That said: I seem to recall the 'A' side having an extended good run of resul...

This was a message I got from his Dad Mike was called in for injured test player Peter Forrest-still no contract!!! Coach Darren Lehman spoke to him ect, selectors know him so who knows-has to make consistent big scores which nobody does –esier said than done-told him just enjoy what you are doing an...

Re: PJ Moor

let me find out about that. I know he replaced Forrester in a couple of games, but might not have been State. I know he played a couple of trials games.....and played really well, in one of them they retired him in the nineties (never a good sign!) but then was overlooked bizarrely. I know he is ser...

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v Bangladesh: 1st ODI

That shot of Chigumbura's was a disgrace. Maybe he took a bet with the bookies that he'd get a first baller? He certainly seemed happy about it.

Re: PJ Moor

He's pure class, Bud. Based in Brisbane. Check out his you tube sites, strength and agility. He's coaching at some school or other and plays grade cricket and the odd state game.

Re: PJ Moor

Jury is not in for me yet on PJ. He needs a good season in the UK. Why would he want to come back and be treated like a second class citizen by ZC? Those guys need to change their plan. In fact we need a completely new set of people, not going to happen.

Re: PJ Moor

I spoke to him a while ago and told him to keep an eye on T20 potentially being launched in America. I'll drop him a line, he was supposed to be coming here in December but has had to stay due to circumstances beyond his control unfortunately. I think he would have to go thru the 4 year thing though...

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v Bangladesh: 1st ODI

still thinking its worth throwing vermeulen out there. Not a bad idea. Have an issue with him burning down the CFX pavilion and still playing. Punishment should have been to somehow rebuild the thing before u pick up a cricket bat again, then all is forgiven. He's got a great eye. I've watched him ...

Re: Time Runs Out for Top Batsmen

I have no problem whatsoever with dropping Vusi and Hamilton. They are both completely overrated and never score big when it matters. Hamilton has probably done enough to hang around a bit longer but Vusi needs a rest. My problem is that Mangongo shouldn't be calling guys out in the media, these th...

Re: Andy Waller confirmed as coach

Not unnecessarily . Its clear. His a hard liner but with everyone. And very quickly he's been proving more than competent. PS: I was going to edit "race" to predjudice but then the site went down. Which wouldn't change my view anyway. A few posters have always tended to look at not without a little...
