Re: Eddie Byrom and Nick Welch

If you eat the dog that makes you like the new colonizers. That is the one thing with the Chinese, they eat stuff that no one realized was actually edible  The white guys look at what the black dudes eat and recoil in horror, and the black dudes do the same when they see what the Chinese are mo...

Re: Eddie Byrom and Nick Welch

And back home the government creates more ministerial posts, orders $16m worth of vehicles for everyone and fires 70 doctors for refusing to work for $80 a month. Slightly overshadowed by the Swazi king who’s just ordered 120 BMW’s and 19 Rolls Royce’s for his family. It does seem a bit excessive wh...

Re: Eddie Byrom and Nick Welch

I can find out, don’t know offhand. Usually they provide accommodation and often a coaching role in the club, sometimes a few bucks, sometimes even a light job. I know that on a Zim or SA passport you have to be very careful about working. He’s receiving a decent salary from Somerset so money is no ...

Re: Eddie Byrom and Nick Welch

Chanceless 150 for Byrom debuting for Freemantle just now. These muppets just let the next Andy Flower slip through their fingers. Makes my blood boil.

Re: Uganda Tour of Zimbabwe

Maybe some reciprocity after Takashinga toured there? Many of those guys are not Takashinga players so you know it’s not Takashinga paying for it. Its guaranteed to be ZC, but they’ve given Takashinga the money to host. ZC supposedly don’t have any money from ICC yet so when Mukhulani was claiming h...

Re: How has your association with ZCF helped you?

He’s a poisonous fellow is what he is. He obviously didn’t have a hand in the Springboks’ sports management or they would have finished last. Still the public are unhappy. Let that sink in... they’re still unhappy and want more!! There are only 7 players of colour in that squad of 30 and that ...

Re: Promising youngsters

Gary Brent is what we call a Madoda, a man amongst men. Pure quality. His wife’s family have had tragedy for sure. Karen’s mum was killed in a car crash which Karen herself was badly injured in, then her brother drowned in a spear fishing accident in Mozambique, he was an absolute legend, then Karen...

Re: Promising youngsters

Yeah Myers is the real deal alright. He’s only 16/17 as well I believe. I watched him play hockey a while back as well, exceptionally talented link, just one of those guys that is top of the class in all ball sports, damned good fielder, good bowler (back damaging action, but nippy) and a real class...

Re: How has your association with ZCF helped you?

Have you seen the hype around today’s rugby final in SA? Every single white guy has gone back in time and thinks it’s Rainbow Nation time all over again. This time Kholisi is Mandela because even those flat heads have enough brain cells to realize Ramaphosa will remain the devil. Sport can actually ...
