Re: Murray Goodwin’s son handed western Australian rookie contract

And no harm in fast tracking someone like that. It’s a high level of cricket he’s being exposed to though. All but the very best youngsters, by that I mean 16-19 year olds, often have a hard time of it initially, and I’m sure especially in Australia, those pros will be all over him. We’re watching w...

Re: Murray Goodwin’s son handed western Australian rookie contract

Yep I’ve read a bit about him and know his uncle. He’s a brilliant young talent. He’ll certainly be in their u19 WC side and may even Captain it.

Re: Murray Goodwin’s son handed western Australian rookie contract

Drop him a message, he’ll tear up his WA contract and will be on the next boat out.
I believe he’s a very good player, bowls quality leggies and can bat, which is an unusual combo, but helps if Pops opens the door for you.

Re: Zimbos in UK: 2019 season

I called that on day one. You can’t go from playing ten games a year to what’s expected of County bowlers. Counties whizz through seam bowlers like cheap suits. I’m reminded of Ngam in SA, a guy destined for a great career but had problems with stress fractures in his legs of all places. It was thou...

Re: Stay strong

The real problem with this is that absolutely no one says - we need to shut them down and people need to go to jail. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE is trying to become a depot manager. It’s shameless what goes on here.

Re: Stay strong

I was sent this earlier. This is what we deal with here. There’s no hope. 14/05/2019 17:31:15: ‪+263 77 434 1016‬: On maize. GMB is selling maize to Millers at $447 per tonne. Which is $13 410 per truck. Gvt is buying that maize from farmers at $726. Which is $21 780. Now GMB Depot managers were sel...

Re: Stay strong

I watched that SA election with despair. ANC won it convincingly, without having to resort to what our guys do. How does anyone in their right minds vote for them? EFF gained slightly and their following of increasingly militant kretins are advocating for an acceleration of the very processes that h...

Re: Stay strong

Two families I know in the last three weeks have had 5 armed guys break into their houses and rob them. Both times the police had to be collected as they claimed no vehicle and no fuel. Kariba is the lowest it’s been this time of year and we’re on a massive load shedding schedule. Our power was off ...

Re: Alistair Campbell HPP

Well they’ve just taken Taibu’s plan and handed it to Campbell who runs it long distance and Brent is the man on the ground. Gary Brent is such a hard working passionate guy, I have great admiration for him. Having this as the 5th franchise is a big plus, but it excludes the other guys who did well ...

Re: All Time XI

Yup you ain’t beating that side. You could swap out Ambrose and Mcgrath/Steyn perhaps. Feeling pretty smug about that pick.
