Re: ZC announce major restructure: Mhishi Committee

If there are no realistically good applicants is it impossible that they'd offer DH his job back?

Re: ZC announce major restructure: Mhishi Committee

Fokoro. It's weird. If Penny and Kirsten are not in the mix I couldn't even begin to guess. It's not completely off the table that they won't go local. I see someone started a rumour that Hamilton had accepted a role in the West Indies, which obviously turned out to be false. He's part of the furnit...

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i

Whoever opens, and Bennett has more than earned his spot, is going to have a trial by fire. Even an Indian Z team is going to be tough.
Theyre all tough, every international side has got good bowlers. There's no easy games.

He still wacks it. If you don't get him out you've lost.

Re: ZC to build new cricket stadium in Gweru

It seems that this promise of a pot of gold by ZC and the council will ultimately finally force Gweru SC out and for it to be bulldozed.
Without knowing a thing about this deal, there's your answer.
It's a theft. Bear in mind they've attempted to steal HSC quite a few times.

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024

The once a year A games are just as much pressure  For me the answer is in getting a sharp coach to work with the talented guys. Real hands on stuff, repetition etc, and daily. Twice a week you're going backwards. Three times a week is maintenance, more than 3 and you're making progress if you'...

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024

Ya I agree. I've been watching Shakib on YouTube. A huge percentage of his wickets are his offie (supposedly turning away from the right hander) actually going slightly the other way. Fuck knows how that happens so regularly for him. You can see it out of his hand, you can see its got revs and likel...

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i

Ok. If they're hanging on for a WC in the same way they've been going, which is basically not getting too involved in domestic cricket it will not be correct. I know they have to manage injuries and slightly older bodies and all, but for our development we can't afford them to do that. Hopefully a c...

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i

I would think Ervine and Williams would like to hang on for the Lord's Test. That's a good way to sign off your career on. I have mixed feelings on that one though. On the one hand they've earned it, on the other we play so few high profile games that if we've got another couple of players doing rea...

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024

Just saw a post that made me laugh.
Campbell and Bennett families are both blueberry farmers.
Something in the blueberries.
Maybe blueberry smoothies for pre-game sustenance?
