Re: ZC to build new cricket stadium in Gweru
I’m not sure where this land is exactly. The city council have been trying for many years to evict Gweru Sports Club from their current historic ground in a prime location in order to build residential or commercial lots. It’s one of the few sports clubs out in the provinces that has held out in the...

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024
I’m with Googly 100% on Marumani. He’s very talented. People on here and on social media who don’t watch our domestic cricket won’t believe me. But I’ve seen a lot of him ever since he was about 15 and he’s got something. I think almost every single person in the setup genuinely believes so too. Yes...

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i
Apparently the England test is going to be at Taunton!
The problem being that Lords is due to host the next world test final around the same time and therefore not available

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i

Highly unlikely of course, I estimate a fair chunk of thos...

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i
Can’t imagine a squad without the big three. Such legends.
I don’t think Ervine will retire quite yet although his place in this format is definitely not guaranteed now.

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i
Looks like it is just T20s. Plans to carry on in tests and ODIs. The ODIs is a bit strange, trying to hang on until 2027? I doubt he’ll last that long. He’s almost permanently injured already. I think he’ll try to get himself in shape for the big India series this winter and then get through to the...
