Re: ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2018, Zimbabwe : Discussion

The only thing that can save us is if our batting finally clicks , with a core of hammy , Taylor ervine, Raza and Williams on home decks it’s our best chance . I feel our bowling is at a very good level at the moment with depth and variation of all sorts it’s up to run makers to set or chase big sc...

Re: ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2018, Zimbabwe : Warm Up Games

Ireland is going to be a real threat to anyone , on paper they are very good and have a good core of experienced World Cup players . The O’Briens , porterfield, Joyce , Stirling and rankin are all class players and play with a lot heart and the never give up attitude.stirling on his day is just as ...

Re: ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2018, Zimbabwe : Discussion

The selectors will have their reasons, but they need to be based on solid grounds. The guys that keep getting picked are simply not performing. Tari looked ok yesterday, but nothing special. He batted a bit like Stuart Matsi, very hard hands and just followed at the ball. Burl looks more compact but...

Re: [Match Thread] 5th ODI: Afghanistan v Zimbabwe

I'm not a fan of the sweep at all. It needs to be selected based on line and length, not pre meditation. Ervine, although he got out to a sweep, is probably our best exponent of the sweep shot as he really get low and smothers the ball. I'll always be a fan of Zimbabwe Cricket, but my interest is dw...

Re: [Match Thread] 5th ODI: Afghanistan v Zimbabwe

Well that's been a real dry bumming. Glad this series is over to be honest.

That afghani umpire is a cheat ..he always gives soft signals in favour of the Afghans ..in a game like this where we have limited camera angles ..soft signal becomes very important ..that was clearly grassed for goodness sake ..
I think it was out

To be honest it looks like a pretty damn good googly. His arm action is so fast.

Meanwhile Craig plays a powerful sweep in front of square. Shot boy

Re: [Match Thread] 5th ODI: Afghanistan v Zimbabwe

Would drop More and Waller for Murray and Williams.. Really they should have gone with Murray over Waller I wouldn't have been against those inclusions at all. I still think Moor is a dangerous asset to have in our lower order or up top; he can genuinely clear the ropes with relative ease. Waller i...

Re: [Match Thread] 5th ODI: Afghanistan v Zimbabwe

Was that out? Mire unlucky. Though from one angle it looked like he got two fingers under the ball. We don't even deserve the luck mate. You guys have played some fantastic cricket in this series and have shown how good your spinners are. I think Mujeeb is over rated, personally, but the left armer...
