Re: ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, India ( 50 Overs ): Qualification System

USA currently top of the table in league 2. Just beat a strong Scotland side. Nepal are improving as well. Top 14-15 sides are very strong now.

Re: ICC Intercontinental Cup ( four dayers) should be replaced by Tier 2 ICC World Test Championship

Windies had defeated England & Sri Lanka won their first test series in South Africa as the only asian team to achieve that success. Sri Lanka was going through transistional phase & Windies were having problem with the board, both these teams now have come off from their problems and will again pr...

Re: ICC Intercontinental Cup ( four dayers) should be replaced by Tier 2 ICC World Test Championship

I agree with this. I dont know if we are a better team but I would say its fairly even there. Add Sri Lanka and the West Indies to that list too and you get a group of teams who can beat each other in home conditions. The team that comes 9th should face some kind of relegation challenge. I disagree ...

Yes the Zimbabwe tour of Aus will be played in Darwin and Cairns
Didn't they play up there and out of season as well when Aus had to host BD for the first time?
Yep. 2003. First and only BD tour of AUS. Apart from another tour in 2008.

2020 ZIM fixtures

When is Zimbabwe's next series?

There is a scheduled tour of Bangladesh in about 4 months time, I don't know if it will feature any Test matches tho. Does anyone know for sure?

Re: Bangladesh in India 2019: Test series

Al-Amin looked very dangerous with the new ball under lights and I’m sure Kriterion will argue Edabot & Abu Jayed bowled well too, but Mushy aside these batsman have looked somout of their depth, which isn’t really their fault. I certainly rate Abu Jayed and Ebadat more than Al Amin. How many Bangl...

Re: Naseem Shah: 16 yo, bowling at 147 kph at the Gabba

I would say peak age, purely in terms of pace is 22-26. A man can probably maintain top pace until age 30, but after 26 or so injuries become almost a guarantee except for the fittest bowlers (eg Steyn, Boult, Anderson). In terms of actual bowling, its interesting to note how Ishant and Umesh were m...

Re: Bangladesh in India 2019: Test series

I've never seen a ground this full for a Test match not in England or Australia. 65K capacity at Eden and by the 3rd session I think every seat was full. If only it was a closer contest. But good to see Ebadat bowling beautifully with the pink ball. The ball to get Rohit jagged back sharply at 139 c...

Re: Bangladesh in India 2019: Test series

Just tuned in...HUGE crowd at Eden Gardens. Just a reminder that even a half full Eden probably has 40-50,000 spectators. About 5000 are fans traveling from Bangladesh. Maybe pink ball is the way to go for the subcontinent.
