Re: Match Thread: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh 1st T20 (3rd May)

With rankings update ZIM started the match back down at 13...just 1 point behind Scotland and Ireland tho.

I reckon 1-4, and they don't gain or lose any points. 2-3 and they'd gain a few.

Keep raining inshallah as old razzman would say
Cricbuzz says par for 1 wicket down is 46.

Cricinfo says par is 39. In which case Bangladesh are ahead.

To be real par for 1 wicket down ought to be 10, lol. But yeah if I was ballpark estimating it, I'd say the par should be 25.

We're actually ahead on DLS
Can't be...we're only 1 wicket down and our run rate is on par.

I'll be damned. Confirmed on cricbuzz.

This has to be one the smallest fields I've seen. You could probably hit a 50 meter six and still clear the fence by 5.

Re: Match Thread: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh 1st T20 (3rd May)

Man Zimbabwe must be the tallest cricket team going around...just saw a white guy (Brian Bennett presumably) and he's as tall as Craig who's 6'2" or 6'3"...

Blessing - 6'8"
Ngarava - 6'4"
Ervine - 6'3"
Bennett or some other white guy - 6'3"
Jongwe - 6'2"

Re: Match Thread: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh 1st T20 (3rd May)

So.... for many months the question has been: "how a future without the big three". Today it was it: all of them out for zero. Some pondering may be done at mid innings: - 124 is a score I would have never foreseen when the situation was 41 for 7 - yes todays IPL is showing boom boom cricket at mor...

Re: Zimbabwe tour of Bangladesh 2024 | Pre series discussion

All those two man green and white tents set up in neat rows and brand new plywood boards to set up barricades is 100% indicative of this being highly organised. SJP, JVP, IFN are well organized groups. I imagine MSA is part of it as well. These are after all kids who attend some of the finest schoo...
