I just hope we can get to the point were people realise that bringing 2 to 3 new players into the squad for every new series is not going to change fact that this team will be terrible for a long time because of the structural issues that have plagued the sport in Zimbabwe for over 20 years.

The sanctitiy of cricket statistics especially in T20 cricket really is something that people really need to stop worrying about. I mean seriously, who cares if some players who wouldn't make it into full strength squads get to play some recognised international cricket. They're still better cricket...

Oh no, not the sanctity of T20 statistics. The storied history of the format has been ruined. How will anyone ever take the format seriously because Nepal hold the highest score.

They get away with it because the ICC, like with many things, assigns responsibility for checking potential age fudging with the boards. As long as their passports say they are born after the cut off date the ICC does not care. In Afghanistan where record keeping is poor to non-existent, age fudging...
