Counting juniors is a different story.
I wonder if James Cameron wouldve dome anything for us if we kept him?

Re: 2004 Team v 2024 Team
Worth noting that the 2004 squad was kinda horrid too. It was the years just before that, that were the golden years. I’m not talking about he post rebel team. The pre rebel team were no good. Let’s mash them together, onky Taylor and Elton make todays squad but both didn’t peak in 2004, they were j...

Re: ZC to build new cricket stadium in Gweru
People travel to Africa for wildlife and nature. Not for county cricket. People don’t even watch county in England let alone Zim.
There may be, keyword *may* be an argument for a multi purpose stadium built there, for soccer, rugby and concerts etc
But then let the Zim gov pay for it.

Re: ZC to build new cricket stadium in Gweru
Can someone explain issue with Vic falls stadium. When county sides come and their staff they can really tap into tourism aspect of falls as well as when international sides come over. Backdrop is amazing and hopefully will be well used. People are not going to travel to Victoria falls to watch Dur...

Re: ZC to build new cricket stadium in Gweru
It is absolutely very concerning and very telling that with all the issues Zimbabwe cricket have, two new stadiums are the priority.
Zim have never had an issue with lack of stadiums ever. The logical conclusion is money laundering or siphoning.

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024
We just aren’t a T20 country Almost all our bats appear bedy classically trained. One of the reasons we seem to put up more of a fight in tests in terms of batting. What always surprises me with our guys is why they don’t swing more in the power plays. There’s way more room for error as you just nee...

Re: 2023-2031 FTP news, updates, etc
There really should be a strict test home and away schedule.
Some allowances and tweaks, such as ashes etc at the expense of a 2nd tester against Zim or Ireland.
But this prizefight exhibitionism doesn’t make sense.

Totally. He ain’t producing the goods and needs chopping. All the excuses are just that, excuses. We live in an age of positive reinforcement which allows accountability to be avoided. Solely looking good in domestic won’t make runs at international level whichever way you try and spin it. The kid ...
