Using under 20 matches to qualify a carer is pointless if you ask me and you'll often find when comparing averages they usually have a 20 test minimum.

Re: Panyangara Signs for Cats Cricket Club in Victoria

how many people in this current team have played more Tests than Panyangara anyway? Raza has played 9 as well and he is averaging 42. so if he was to retire today would we then say he wasn't given enough time to be exposed so that his average could go down? that's unfair if you ask me. You're 100 %...

Re: Panyangara Signs for Cats Cricket Club in Victoria

Everyone is quick to blame Streak and Taibu again but just because the Rhinos didn’t want Tinashe didn’t mean he had no choice but to flee to Australia. 4 other franchises Your lack of knowledge about the structure of cricket in Zimbabwe does not correlate with just how affirmatively vocal you are ...

Re: Future tour rumours

17 tests 40 ODI's and 31 t20 matches over 4 years just isn't enough cricket for me, in a perfect world we would double that at least. Breaking it down to one year 4.25 tests 10 ODI matches 7.75 t20's 22 matches total In comparison this year Zimbabwe will have played 4 tests 12 ODI's ( plus 6 List ma...

Re: ZCF 2017/18 Ashes thread

I understand the logic of the M Marsh selection, they want a good fifth bowling option as the WACA tends to be an absolute road these days. But he simply isn't even in the top 10 batsmen in the country, not by a long way. For someone with his past failures at Test level, the bar should have been se...

Re: Boxing Day: Waller, Williams out; Burl, Blessing, Chatara in?

Don't know why we should persist with Mire in that opening spot. May as well go with Chibhabha for lack of better choices or Perhaps have Moor open. Just don't see Mire doing any magic at the top. There's a solid Ervine at number 3 who's too valuable to move up one spot. He'll no doubt stabilise th...

Re: Panyangara Signs for Cats Cricket Club in Victoria

This whole 'Tinashe is our best bowler' is rubbish. His brief test carer is very impressive on paper but it is wrong to give so much credence to his test carer whilst ignoring his ODI carer which was nine times bigger!!!! Panyangara's ODI stats 65 matches 65 wickets @46.5 with an economy of 5.6 Im s...

Re: Future tour rumours

Way too much t20 cricket being played IMO but I guess t20 brings in more money so if they can use some of the money to fund more test matches I'm happy with that
