Where’s Tino? Not heard him yet this week
I think he's away commentating on the Ireland v Afghanistan matches.

Re: Zimbabweans in franchise league

Zaheer Khan must be a muslim I'd have thought. Azharuddin is another, going back many years.

Re: RIP Heath Streak

Such terrible news. What is striking is the number of tributes being posted from around the world including by so many very high profile current and former cricketers. Very few Zimbabwean cricketers have ever had such reach and legacy. At the time of writing, absolutely nothing from ZC. Presumably ...

Re: Zim Test in England - Confirmed

About 5 years ago, the ICC ruled that tests could be played over 4 days instead of 5 to encourage test fixtures between stronger and weaker nations in an already crowded schedule, the expectation being that the stronger nation would only need 4 days or less to win. England have so far played 2 4-da...

Re: Ashes 2023

Foakes stumped Balbirnie overbalancing after the act of playing a shot. There was no controversy after it. I don't remember any Irish outcry. So the fact you're referring to that means you're really grasping at straws. Wrong, Balbirnie was not over balanced, he had played the shot and Foakes waited...

Re: Ashes 2023

'Foakes held the ball for an eternity'. No, just no. I've watched it on YouTube. Not walking, rightly or wrongly, is just part of the game now, and has been for decades. Running people out because they think it's dead ball at the end of the over is a new and peculiarly Australian tactic, so kudos t...

Re: Ashes 2023

Warner & Labuschagne: trying to gain an advantage by batting outside their crease. Surely even you can understand stumping someone here is totally different to a batsmen thinking it's the end of the over. De Grandhomne: starts to set off for a run for some unfathomable reason. Foakes: stumping some...
