Re: Pro 50 2018/19: R2: Eagles v Rhinos & (?) Tuskers v Mountaineers

How did the Rhinos managed to lose with that lineup? It is startling that Sibanda is bowling so much and Waller has barely turned his arm over... Good to see a decent mix in the Eagles team, got rid of lots of rubbish and replaced them with up and coming youngster, Matsikenyeris influence? Could wel...

Re: Vigne Cup 2018/19

If we are so desperate for a left arm pacer in place of Vitori that we keep trying a heavily under-cooked and non-improving Ngarava at every possible opportunity, then why not convince the journalist Brighton Zhawi to consider cricket as a full time career option? He has always turned in good perfor...

Re: Pro 50 2018/19: R1: Eagles v Tuskers & Mountaineers v Rhinos

This way, soon, a day may come where only the high profile academies might be playing any serious cricket in the country. How about these guys organizing a full season of all-format matches between themselves? 1. Campbell's Academy - in place of Eagles 2. Streak's Academy - in place of Tuskers 3. Ma...

Re: Pro 50 2018/19: R1: Eagles v Tuskers & Mountaineers v Rhinos

If we paid for it, sure. Nepal like most associates aren’t exactly flush with money. Even then, ZC would have expenses like match payments etc? The interest in Nepal for cricket is MASSIVE! I'm sure their government would be more than willing to foot the bill for a historic series like this one. If...

Badly lol Honestly how much could it cost to host Nepal for an ODI series ? More than ZC can afford right now, I'm sure! Really sad state to be in :(. We could call up Nepal and say that we want to be the first full member to tour them. They should be more than happy to host us for an ODI series?

Re: Pro 50 2018/19: R1: Eagles v Tuskers & Mountaineers v Rhinos

The biggest thing I look for in the domestic season is runs, too often we are following low scoring matches, so few batsman and making hundreds and if they can't do it in domestic cricket then what hope do they have when they make the step up to national level. +1. By the way, did you see the rules...

Re: Pro 50 2018/19: R1: Eagles v Tuskers & Mountaineers v Rhinos

I think that is a bit hard. Some really exciting players with potential in Tsiga and Mashingwe who would be seen as potential national team players in the shorter formats, I agree that Mutizwa and Innocent Kaia should probably be longer format players only at the moment. Yeah, I meant the overall c...

Re: Pro 50 2018/19: R1: Eagles v Tuskers & Mountaineers v Rhinos

The Mountaineers OD line up is shocking. Basically the same 11 that played the Logan Cup match. Lot of longer format specialists there. Did they travel to Kwe Kwe only with 11 or 12 people? Where is Maruma when you need him?

Yeah, good to see Cremer back.

Over the last couple of years, I have become a big admirer of Kane Williamson. Classy batsman, astute leader and a gem of a role model on and off the field. Such a relief in the era of in-your-face aggression of Kohli and the likes. I thought Sanga was the last such classy batting legend we would se...
