Re: [Match Thread]: 2018 Tri-Series Match 5 | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh

Waller included runs wise ( although he's looked terrible ), if Ervine had Waller's runs we'd be saying he close to a big score Yeah, but it also matter how those runs have come. It is not like he is in some rich vein of form. He has lucked into those runs with the opposition dropping catches (coul...

Re: [Match Thread]: 2018 Tri-Series Match 5 | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh

The management has to think of something fresh for this match. May be send Waller in at 3 with all the licence to self-destruct. If it comes off, good for him, else, end of career. Either way, Ervine would have a breather...

Re: [Match Thread]: 2018 Tri-Series Match 5 | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh

BD are batting first. This is good news. We need all our bowlers to keep it tight today and make it a close contest.

Re: [Match Thread]: 2018 Tri-Series Match 5 | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh

If we are batting second, we'll definitely have more options up our sleeves - if we lose a couple of quick wickets, we can look to consolidate and ensure damage limitation instead of going for the win, so that we can hope for another SL meltdown in the last match. Let's hope we win the toss and chas...

Zimbos in the IPL draft

If anyone cares that is. It seems the same guys who were at BPL from Zim are the ones who have made it to the draft. Raza, Cremer, Mire and Waller. Surprising that the likes of Taylor and Hamilton haven't put forward their names.

Re: Kenya to Tour Zimbabwe

I don't think Mpofu and Mavuta would be relegated to A team without game time after their national team selection. May be they have been mentioned here in case they miss out on national selection. That could be the reason behind picking a squad of 18. Good to see cricket back in Mutare! Chakabva is ...

Re: All time Zimbabwe fielding XI

Yeah, Taibu was easily the best keeper we had. And yes Williams looked special initially, but hasn't gone on to develop that part of his game much. And Dabengwa was wonderful too when we were putting out some disastrous teams. In fact, the only contribution of Dabengwa most of the times was his fiel...

Re: The Official Bowling Speed Thread

Yeah, he is curetnly the last question asked on the Quiz thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=364&hilit=zcpq&start=3450#p113143

The answer post there has links to a couple of his recent exploits. ZC should be getting him back ASAP.

Re: The Official Bowling Speed Thread

I thought Ngarava was the bowler who hit 140 something in the WC ? Mate, you're reading too much of Kriterion. I remember myself correcting him on this 2 or 3 times :D . The guy who bowled 140+ in the last U19 WC was Kundai Matigimu. May be the admins must pin this at the top or something
