I meant William Mashinge, not Williams. Taps- why is he banned? Banned? Got no idea.. Banned? Who? Mashinge? What for? I was sitting here and hoping he would shockingly get that spot no. 8 for second test. That was my theory of why he is not in the RS squad in the ongoing match... There are 2 whole...

Re: [Match Thread] 1st Test, Zimbabwe vs West Indies

If we had scored the same 350 yesterday, they would have been flat by now. We are waiting for the declaration now unfortunately, no plans of getting the 20 wickets, it looks like.

Re: [Match Thread] 1st Test, Zimbabwe vs West Indies

International record for the highest score made by a batsman retiring hurt - 165 by Australian Charles Bannerman against England in 1877. Record broken by WI's Ewin Lewis with 176 retired hurt against England eariler this year.

A small matter of 140 years. Never too late. Never say never.

Re: [Match Thread] 1st Test, Zimbabwe vs West Indies

Apart from a couple of bad deliveries in this over, I have never seen Williams bowl as well as he has done in this match. Has understood the pitch so well and executed the plans admirably.
