I know he doesn't set the world a light, but is there a more likeable cricketer than Donald Tiripano? He shows the same grit and determination that we were renowned for in the 1990s.
Yes, he's a really nice guy, so many Zim cricketers are.

Re: Logan Cup

I’m very sorry to hear that, John, you and a number of others deserve much better. Rest assured their inner circle will still draw their very big stipends and think they can keep this charade going. They can’t see that the corrupt ICC are turning the tap off slowly, much like the frog in the pot of...

Re: 15 Man Test Squad Announced

These guys are always going on holiday, attending weddings, etc., during our three month cricket season. Either they are professional cricketers or they aren't. This shows that many of our players don't really have the passion needed to be international sportsmen, it is merely a nice career for the...

Re: Logan Cup

If ZC can keep our cricket afloat on $5m a year it begs the question what have they been doing with the extra $4m that we’ve been getting   They can't! That's why Logan Cup matches are postponed and everybody's salary (I am told) reduced by half. I can't survive on my new salary for too l...

Re: Logan Cup

John Ward will know if there’s been an overall cut, but he didn’t answer the query. I’m curious what’s happened to Bvute since his fall from grace, was it catch and release? Is he still a life President of ZC? Is his watchdog cousin, Esther Lupe, still watching the purse strings? I didn't see the q...

Re: 15 Man Test Squad Announced

I spoke to PJ Moor this afternoon. He says he missed the first Logan Cup match because he was on an overseas visit to see relatives and, like all of us, had no idea beforehand when the season was going to start. He played in the second match for Rhinos without much success, and sought and received p...

What do we know about Charlton Tshuma??

Is he express pace/swing bowler or What????
Fast-medium seamer, persistent and pretty accurate, but I would think he needs more experience before he actually plays Test cricket.

Re: Burl & Moor becomes victims of racial quota system

Zimbabwe declared 15 men test squad against Sri Lanka but whats surprising is missing names of two star players Peter Moor & Ryan Burl. For last one year Peter Moor has been the most improved player & Burl average 40 in domestic cricket, two has been excluded with fake reason revealing them not tak...

Re: Logan Cup

It looks like the round due to start today have been shelved. Correct - the financial crisis again in ZC, exacerbated by the massive reduction in the ICC handout. The Sri Lanka tour is swallowing up a massive amount of money and right now there is none left for Logan Cup, salaries or anything else.
