Re: RIP Heath Streak

I am told he is still in a critical condition, so I think we can only hope and pray rather than celebrate right now.

Re: Zimbabwe Vs Namibia | 4th T20I | 22nd May 2022

I think an excuse for the guys must be physical and mental tiredness - they have had a seven-month season without much rest, including all those unnecessary and unrepresentative Northerns v Southerns matches.

Re: Zimbabwe XI to Play South Africa "A"

No man. U can't call light with one over to go. Not seen that before. Who complained? I'm assuming the Zim side? Someone has to complain Didn't come from the batsmen, must have been a message from upstairs. I don't like this at all. It's an A side game. I totally agree, our umpires being far too fi...

Re: North-South Regional T20 Series | 12th-14th Apr 2022

Doesn't look like Ervine, Williams or Burl can be bothered with it again. Mutombodzi, Masuku and Maruma all playing despite not playing in the franchise t20 stuff. Quite funny. Not sure that is a fair comment on Ervine as he has played as much domestic cricket as anyone over the last few years. Bur...

Re: Zimbabwe domestic season 2021-22

I spoke to PJ Moor today. He tells me he broke a finger, which is why he is not playing at the moment, but hopes to be fit again for the coming T20 matches. (Whenever they will be!)

If there is an excuse, it is that our players are not used to batting under lights.

Re: Pro50 Championship Thread 2021-22

So the Eagles/Goats players warmed up at HSC and a toss took place, but apparently no match happened? That's an odd one. You'd think if it was Covid they would have known test results much earlier than that. I wonder what happened? According to the press release, in a pre-match Covid test, four pla...
