Re: Introductions

Nice to have you on board, Devon. That's a nice photo you got there with the Howard Gardiner obituary on your blog. Any idea what's in those slightly Op art-like boxes Gardiner and some others got presented with (although Procter got a different box)? And you wouldn't know it, but by sharing a photo...

Re: Will Zimbabwe ever win another international against a Top 9 team?

And by the way, is anyone else finding themselves losing interest in Zim cricket? I found it hard even to look up the scorecards for the Pakistan series; not necessarily because we're not even competing any more and the present is so depressive (we've been through that before), but the future looks...

Another good outing for Magarira. We've seen so many young spinners pop up and fade away over the years that I can't muster much excitement, but for now he seems to challenge Wellington's position as next-in-line SLA behind Chisoro. Does he turn the ball much?

Re: Sam Curran called up for England

For elegance per stroke among contemporaries I put Vusi top, but then with him you never felt assured that he wouldn't get out next ball regardless. For free-flowing, easy and assured stroke-play once they've gone past fifty, the feeling that they can hit pretty much every ball where they please, I'...

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Stats Quiz

Goodwin has 823 by my count. Where did 1026 come from Foreignfield? It seems I added up his batting innings instead  Ah. I think you are still winning with Goodwin. Davison has 801 and I can't find any others in the 800s. Yep, I believe Davison is closest. But what with me asking and ans...

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Stats Quiz

Sorry to jump in while we are still looking for two Logan Cup debut hundreds but this question by TapsC elsewhere today also belongs here: Also expect to see Elton back in the fold under this new selection panel. Just looked at his record. He has played over 550 games across all formats. I wonder wh...
