Re: Matthew Bentley plans a career with Ireland
Before there is a knee jerk regarding this latest 'defection' you have to consider the trend for the Zimbabwean Middle Classes trend in attending further education in Europe rather than South Africa. England have a similar issue and there have been many instances of 'high fliers' following a busines...

What are the eight tests (I presume from 4 series)? I know of the Sri Lanka and Pakistan home series but what other Test fixtures are planned?

Re: Name your Test XI
Both Sean Williams and Kazuza appear to be more natural compilers of runs. From the very little I've seen of Moor and Kazuza the later appears to have the tighter technique.

1. Mawayo 2. Sibanda 3. Hamilton 4. Taylor 5. Williams 6. Chigumbura 7. Chakabva (How much difference a return to cricket by Taibu would make) 8. Cremer 9. Meth 10. Shingi 11. Jarvis Also centrally contract; M.Waller, Mutumbodzi, Mushangwe, Mpofu, Chatara and Vitori Try and identify some potential t...

Re: Streak unveiled as Matabeleland Tuskers head coach
I thought he looked quite good and bowled without any luck. He does, though, possibly lack a yard of pace to make it a a First Class player. However, I thought the same about Price and Muzhange after the last U19 World Cup (Chatara looked class).

Sourthen Rocks
The make up of the Rocks squad for the forthcoming season will be interesting. I can't believe Dave Houghton has gone there expecting to turn last years squad of club cricketers into a first class force. Of that squad Chibhabha, Vitori, R.Kaia, Mutumbani, Panyangara(if not otherwise engaged), Muzara...

Re: Anthony Ireland
Would be a good signing for the Rocks. He is better than the seamers they currently have and would strengthen the playing pool of talent in Zim. Ironically if he had returned 2 seasons ago he would have walked into the Zim team; now Jarvis, Chatara, Meth and Vitori (and maybe Manatsa) are all superi...

Re: Tuskers lose overseas players
Good news; the Tuskers squad is strong and does not need supplementing with run of the mill overseas journeymen. Neither Chappie Coventry or Sean Williams played a first class match for the Tuskers during 11-12, they can surely replace the two departed; a much better situation for Zim Cricket.

Re: Murray Goodwin Released
He would be a great short term investment for Zimbabwe Cricket; he would improve the national teams performance in all formats of the game.

Re: Streak unveiled as Matabeleland Tuskers head coach
The squad has a strong seam attack:- Mpofu, Meth, Querl, Mupariwa, Staddon, Mboyi, Nkala & S.Ervine; can't see Kyle Bowie getting much of a look-in.
