Re: State of SA

T20 leagues getting preference by the broadcasters as the general public likes to see that. I know people like us, we are cricket nerds who will watch any game and prefer tests and ODIs, but for a casual cricket viewer, sadly, T20s are the preferred format now. I understand Aus-Nzl are playing T20s...

Re: Afghanistan Test & T20 Squad (No BT & Craig)

It all comes down to the coaching. Do we still have that Indian guy?

Re: State of SA

Theyre showing the SA T20 on fox too. I expected them to show the Pak v SA series. Problem is that Fox has invested so heavily in AFL, NRL, and Aus cricket that it leaves very little for the rest. They've also lost Rugby, Football (mainly EPL) and on the brink of the A-league moving away too. They a...

Re: Afghanistan Test & T20 Squad (No BT & Craig)

I don't think Khan is out. I read that he will miss the PSL for the Zim tour. If we had some genuinely fast bowlers I reckon that is where would take Afghanistan. They have a wealth of spinners that I don't think they fair well against speed. Even Rashid hasn't been as lethal as previous years. BBL0...

Re: Kyle Jarvis survives Covid 19

Sigh...mate please stop making this forum feel like California. I'm asking a perfectly legitimate question. Not even mad. Just because this is a cricket forum, does not excuse bigotry. Doggy was anti-semitic not long ago and nothing happened. I contribute heaps to the cricket side of the discussion.

Fundy Islam,
I'm taking a guess you mean fundamentalists and are not generalising the whole religion and it's followers.

Re: Afghanistan Test & T20 Squad (No BT & Craig)

If Wellington is our best spin option, well we already knew we have serious problems, but this is now laughable. Clearly ZC has not spend any time in actually looking to develop players. To be honest, I just look at that squad and feel flat. Is Mutumbami also the best wk option we have?

Re: Kyle Jarvis survives Covid 19

So did they refuse to go in to the bubble or were they told one thing and another thing happened? It would not surprise me that ZC change the rules, but also does not surprise me that some of the big names get a bit lazy. They could probably have a 3 week break and still be light years ahead of the ...

Re: Kyle Jarvis survives Covid 19

Maybe they felt that others would abuse the power of being a mod. I have been on forums where that has happened before, however in saying that, there are posts on this forum that have gotten away with a lot. There has been Islamaphobia and anti-Muslim posts. There has been anti-semitism, homophobia,...

Re: Is Madhevere the best black batsman Zim has seen?

I have no sympathy for Hami because he constantly backed the board, so the idea that he was unlucky because of instability is something he will have to take as his own blame. He had many chances to fix it, but never wanted to. I've often said he had the ability to be a truly good player. A 40plus av...
