Re: Age Group NPL

In this instance, it is the job of the National Board to organise a competition, and then the job of those competing, in this case the clubs, to do the legwork required to try and win. This feels like a good initiative. The board has a job to uphold the highest standards of players, coaches, and cl...

Re: Age Group NPL

I assuming to a degree it’s putting emphasis back on the clubs to help develop players. Instead of mostly school cricket and private coaching. Sogo rangers had a diagram a little while back that explained how to progress from thier juniors to senior cricket. Perhaps, but what's to stop the clubs fr...

Re: Age Group NPL

All well and good creating this comp but how is it going to develop the youngsters. There needs to be a clear pathway of development. I don't have faith in the current system to do this and to develop the players so that they can make the step up. All this is to me is a box ticking exercise which lo...

Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe | Tri Series | 25 Nov 2025 | Rawalpindi

It's obvious to everyone that ZC has no idea what they are doing. We have talent, but they don't nurture it. The only talent we do have, they treat like plebs, yet the players who continually under perform are always given a chance to play. We then have to bring back BT and Cremer, and they haven't ...

How are Musekiwa and Munyonga in this side? Their domestic stats don't really suggest that they have earned the call up.

Re: Sean Williams

No surprises here. Very very disappointed but not surprised. Has any other test playing nation ever had to deal with consistent player walkouts/ protests/withdrawals/bans/comebacks? It's been like this for 25 years. We wouldn't have to if we had a competent leadership. Willo will be missed. Was an ...

Kind of shitty to have that nice feeling after the test win, and then come back to this format and be so poor. How have we learnt nothing in all this time. We can't keep being a team that lives off 1 win every few months.

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers

African teams with Indian players is more palatable than European or Middle East.

Africa has a long history of Indian/Pak citizens, so it was always inevitable that they would make their way to the cricket team. Even in their hay day, Kenya had indian/pak players.

I’m not saying we’ll lose

The pressure will play its part though. I don’t think it will be a 200/4 innings if we bat first.
