I hate you.

I read the headline and I nearly flipped the laptop.

Re: Durham tour and positives from a zimbabwe perspective

We talk about Durham like its high class opposition, but it is no better than any associate international side. If that's the case, says a lot about how poor our standard is. They strolled to victory in every game they played in. The final of the T20 was a shambles. Eagles got bowled for 16 and it ...

Re: Zimbabwe Domestic T20 3rd - 9th of March

Durham cantered to victory in every single one of their games. They just proved how low the quality of our domestic cricket is. This makes it even sillier that we force Internationals to give up their overseas contracts if they want to play for Zim.

That final is just absolutely abysmal.

Re: New T20 Franchise tournament

So Hammy hasn't been fired? So much for shaking things up. The interview was quite poor from him. It doesn't really fill us with much hope for ZC with him in charge. Definitely prefer T20 over T10 though so hopefully this will be much better. Think we still need our lights fixed a bit for the outfie...

Re: ZC announce major restructure: Mhishi Committee

All of these recommendations are the bare minimum and do not really change anything because the people in charge of enacting these changes are the same ones who have been screwing up everything.

Re: Where is Zimbabwe's Shamar Joseph?

They are there, in Zim, we just have a board that only gives jobs to "the boys" so none of these talents actually develop as they should. The players then get complacent as they know they will always get selected and get to travel the world every once in a while, and win the odd game which everyone ...

Re: U19 World Cup | South Africa | Jan-Feb 2024

There is clearly an issue in the coaching system. Both economical bowlers don't bowl out their full 10 today, and this problem also seems to stem to our national team. Too many issues in our coaching department to let these idiots continue to run the system. Mukhulani needs to really go. He is a can...

Re: Where to from here?

Theyve still got the Cartwright, Muyeye, Byrom and even BT Ballance option to revisit and to explore. BT could play a crucial role in some capacity or other, but they'll opt for a third rate other coach instead. ZC, TM and Bvute would much rather burn down HSC than reach out to these guys to bring ...

Re: Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka. 2nd ODI. 8th Jan 2024

I know you are all saying Shumba did well, but to me a SR of 57 in an ODI is not great in the context. I'm not asking for him to hit fours and sixes, but just to rotate the strike. Keep taking the ones and twos. I also see comments like, "he hit a good shot, but it went to a fielder". Yes, that can ...
