Re: NPL 2025

They broke the rules for Archer. They would absolutely do it again, if Muyeye was suddenly the best batter in England, which he isn’t obviously. They never broke any rules for Archer. They just reduced their qualification period from 7 years to 3 years. Archer was was born british as his father is ...

Re: NPL 2025

They broke the rules for Archer. They would absolutely do it again, if Muyeye was suddenly the best batter in England, which he isn’t obviously. The ICC rule is 3 years residency. ECB had imposed their own 7 year rule over and above this (mainly due to the criticism of the number of foreign born/ra...

Re: NPL 2025

Im assuming Russian Bear or Klippies was your poison last night? Ya this NPL is a smokescreen of note, epitomised by the Fentanyl Tigers. Lowveld cricket used to be pretty good back in the day. Theyre attempting to show that cricket really is country-wide and that somewhere out there there's ...

Re: Zimbabwe U19 Tri-Series | July 25 - August 10 | 2025

I'll be very interested to see the scores in the upcoming school season.

How will the lads in this squad get on? Will there be any out there who outperform them? If so, might they be parachuted in before the WC?

Re: Zimbabwe U19 Tri-Series | July 25 - August 10 | 2025

Elton was telling everyone at the ground yesterday that half of the SA team is over age…. This over age thing redlines me. Its cheating, end of. Should be a life ban from cricket for the player, his team mates and coaching staff and that country should be suspended for 2 years, no more cricket. Onl...

Re: Zimbabwe U19 Tri-Series | July 25 - August 10 | 2025

What is interesting is we beat Ireland with these similar players. So it be interesting to see how they go the World Cup So? Ireland are also rans in junior cricket. Half of their best senior cricketers were developed in other countries, and weren't Ireland eligible at U19 level. They are not in th...

In the batting is there anyone of any potential at all, other than Hlabangana?

Re: Zimbabwe U19 Tri-Series | July 25 - August 10 | 2025

Im trying to figure out if they went to the same school or if there's another common denominator that excluded them from the squad when they are our best players and the current team cant come within 300 runs of SA C team? Landman and Watson are still young, ie they would be eligible next time stil...
