Re: Series Thread: Al Barakha Cup (Canada T20)

Thanks for the link brmtaylor.com admin, It is indeed Ali Campbell in commentary along with Ranil Abeyanayake, I think. Great start despite losing Matsikenyeri early. As I had predicted in one of the other threads, Masakadza is our key to success, and he is on a roll at the moment... :D EDIT: Oh, no...

Re: Australia in India - the biggest series since the Ashes

Well, Saurav Ganguly has scored well over the last few series, except the abysmal one at SL, but it is his fitness level which is on serious decline. And to be fair, it was never up there where it should have been, and that has made him look like a kind of scapegoat. The latest news is that he has a...

Re: The final 15

According to the latest updates on Cricinfo, looks like the team is traveling to Canada after all, and Taibu has been successfully persuaded by the board to join the team. Can there be any more confusion? Icing on the cake would be to see BRMT turn up for the match on 10th October. :P

Re: Australia in India - the biggest series since the Ashes

Indeed the India - Australia rivalry has reached great heights ever since the 2001 home series at India, where Laxman turned the heat on with that legendary 281, with Dravid's support. Since then, every test series has been very closely fought. Till then, it was the story of home team dominating the...

Re: Ireland will be tough nut

Let's bring in the Kenya angle. Thomas Odoyo is a match winner. There is no doubt about that. He has been Kenya's Heath Streak for years now. Zimbabwe will have to look out for him, and also for Tikolo and Varaiya, the spinner, in my view. Ireland have nothing to lose. This is one of their opportuni...

Zims have a say in deciding Pro40 titles

Well, what do you know! Murray Goodwin has emulated Brendan Taylor by hitting a last ball six to win the Pro40 title for Sussex! Good on him... Here's him, celebrating. Also tasting success was Grant Flower, whose quickfire knock gave the Pro40 Division Two title to Essex. Here's a look at his effor...
