!

I thought I had forgotten somebody - Eddo Brandes! Not as consistent as the other two pacemen, but world-class and devastating at his best. He and Paul Strang could alternate in the team according to the conditions.

Re: "Zim players you've seen live" XI

I have seen all the leading Zimbabwe players of the last 50 years, so here is my list of the greatest. It excludes players like Mike Procter, who was basically a South African playing for us, though totally committed during his time here, and Graeme Hick, who opted for a mediocre Test career in Engl...

Wouldn’t be surprised if he started the foundation to top up his salary
Can't believe that for a moment. Hammy is one of the nicest, most genuine guys I know.

Re: Taibu ready to start Bill Flower Academy and release his autobiography

There's a few things for me in this excerpt. Mangongo is beating players, yet gets away with being an excellent coach and mentor. I don't care how good you are or think you are, you have no right to beat anyone. Why is he played off as a good guy all the time despite the countless accounts of his a...

Re: Zimbabwe bowlers

Mpofu should he be kept in the squad Tiripano only plays because he is a servicable batter Jarvis a shoe in Chatara no questions but a little suspect in some cases Mumba raw talent , up and Down Burl the question is he has to be an alrounder to get a spot in the squad- Tiripano is his competition N...

Re: [ODI 4] Zimbabwe v UAE

Whitewash! 4-0, yeah it's against UAE but a whitewash is a whitewash. Jarvis was MoTM and Chakabva was MoTS. IMO, I'd have had Chats or Jarv as Player of the Series but credit to Regis, he played when it counted. Positives? Captaincy from Moor seems promising, he's the future after Hammy. Chakabva ...

Re: [ODI 3] Zimbabwe v UAE

I believe that’s the quickest ODI century for a Zimbo well done Willo So is Burl now the No.1 ODI spinner?? Rajpot mustn’t rate the other guys if he’s putting the part time Burl at the top of the tree. Interesting to see what the lineup for the final match is? Poor old Timmy Maruma has played every...

Re: [ODI 2] Zimbabwe vs UAE

Why's Chisoro not being given chances? He couldn't be too poor. I was hoping Ndolvu gets a shot. Meanwhile, UAE have got a good partnership. If we want to get opportunities against bigger teams and be respected as a full nation in cricket, we need to stomp aside an expat-ridden team with ease! I ag...

Re: Zimbos in UK: 2019 season

Blessing made his debut for Northants today, took a couple of wickets but went at five an over. I predict he will be released and back in Zimbabwe within two years. He is going to get smashed around the place. Or else he will respond well, play brilliantly and become so valuable that Northants will...
