Lesson: Only bring unwanted batting advice to the table when you are having soup!
:D

By the way, that brings in a few twists to the Bob Woolmer death conspiracy theories...
Now that you mention it ...

Re: Sri Lanka sold 2011 WC final to India

Shady politics are nothing new in SL. Arjuna Ranatunga, wo was quoted in the earlier article, is also in politics these days if I'm not mistaken.

I give this as much credit as a ZANU-PF minister going public tomorrow, claiming Ervine sold the WC qualifiers and brought covid-19 to Wuhan.

Re: Draft 1 Poll

And contrary to all my other calculated picks, the two youngsters Wes and Burl have been the stars in this series for my team. Good to notice that. You obviously didn't know we would do this simulation thing, but Wes with his three matches to choose from and no real failure was a high-value draft u...

Chicken farmer does it again. Eugene’s batting meltdown hands CrimsonAvenger easy win. CrimsonAvenger 192 all out beats eugene 156 all out by 36 runs The final of the Zim All Stars simulation tournament once again highlighted the frailty which has always been a prominent feature of Zimbabwe’s batti...

Well, bring on the battle of the Flowers! :D
The final would be a good time for one of the sides to bat the full 50 overs.

I expect a score from eugene's engine room (Goodwin/AF). No pressure!

Re: Draft 1 Poll

I must have been on drugs with my bowling changes Rogers bowling 10 Ervine, Johnson & Olonga not bowling at all lol Ironically the key to my side was the long batting lineup with many bowling options, but in the end I probably had too many bowling options and my long batting all failed Your bowling...

Re: Draft 1 Poll

Fletcher and co. romp to victory eugene 249 all out (44.4 overs) beats Kriterion_BD 192 all out (37.2 overs) by 57 runs Duncan Fletcher’s all-round brilliance proved too much for a Kriterion_BD team that was only ever in the game for the first five overs of the match. Fletcher’s 69, together with T...

Re: Draft 1 Poll

I think the luck of the random number generator plays an even bigger part here. Neil Johnson and Sean Ervine both drew matches where Zim were bowled out cheaply by England and Australia respectively, Cremer on the other hand made hay against Kenya.
