Wishing all the members of the forum friends & foes
"Merry Christmas "
Thanks very much, Robot, and the same for you. Sadly not much of a Christmas in Zimbabwe this year.

Re: Logan Cup 2018: R2: Eagles v Rhinos & (deferred) Tuskers v Mountaineers

Disappointing from the Rhinos bundled out for 86, Inninings win by the Eagles after a great all round batting display. When was the last time they achived such. Our domestic players just blow hot and cold. No one seems to really put in consistent performances to put pressure on the National team gu...

Re: Logan Cup 2018: R2: Eagles v Rhinos & (deferred) Tuskers v Mountaineers

This is definitely not how I thought this match would end up. Massive win for the Eagles. Where's he from? Is he a Zimbabwean or an import? Did he school there He's Zimbabwean I don't know on what grounds though Cricinfo says he was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia! Yes, Faraz is the son of a Pakistani...

Re: Logan Cup 2018: R2: Eagles v Rhinos & (deferred) Tuskers v Mountaineers

Eagles batting really deep here . How good is Faraz to those who have seen him play? Faraz looks very impressive at provincial level. He batted very well in his innings today, dominating the bowlers with good clean strokeplay. He bowls well, too, but I think his lack of real pace at present would c...

Re: Logan Cup 2018: R2: Eagles v Rhinos & (deferred) Tuskers v Mountaineers

I was informed only late today that both Bulawayo matches have been deferred AGAIN - until later in the season, dates not yet decided. (But they would probably be changed anyway!)

Re: Logan Cup 2018: R1: Eagles v Tuskers & Mountaineers v Rhinos

Cant believe they didnt finish the game in Harare. It had stopped raining heavily in that area by 3pm. It was more of a flash storm but still overcast. I agree. If I were an Eagles supporter I would be furious. After the main storm had passed over, it took them about an HOUR (for a guess) before th...

Is this Tari's first century?
In first-class cricket, yes. He wasted several previous opportunities, and nearly wasted this one, being dropped twice in the nineties. But before then I am told it was a fine, well-constructed innings.
