Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz

It's young Wellington Masakadza!

I notice the U-19s have all been hauled in front of the cameras. Always nice to put faces to names.

Re: Wicket keepers

Craig must keep, period!

And Matsi!

Maybe they should keep at one end each.

Also, Rainsford and Panyangara come to mind.

Re: Interview with Tino Mawoyo

Any opinions about captaincy? Is it something he relishes, and that comes naturally to him, or is it a role he was rather pushed into as a senior player at the Mountaineers and recently with Zim A?

At least SA are made to work hard. 161-5 after 39 overs gives us just a sniff.

Re: [Match Thread] 6th Match: Zimbabwe A v Sri Lanka A

6 wickets for Chigs? Hello?

It always seems Chigs has to be gang pressed to bowl.

But SL are really staring at bleak times when Sangawardena both retire.

Ah, and weclome back, hhm! :D

SL A routed for 81.

Re: [Match Thread] 5th Match: Zimbabwe A v South Africa A

I continue to be quitely impressed with Tino Mutombodzi's progress as an, wait for it, all-rounder. OK, he's not much more than a decent No. 8 at present, but there's definitely some batting talent there. As I write Chigs has finished his repair job for today :( ... do we still consider him as an al...

Re: [Match Thread] 5th Match: Zimbabwe A v South Africa A

I know it's difficult to judge just by watching the scorecard, but after these first few matches I have been quite impressed with Tino's captaincy. I remember bayhaus championing him as a future Zimbabwe captain, especially for the ODI side .. but first things first, he still has to establish himsel...
