watermelon here, this forum is like Zim society, don't agree with something - cry racism. These young black players seem above reproach with some - most of them are lucky to be considered professionals given the amount of time they spend at KFC.

Re: Was Kevin Curran overrated?
watermelon here to solve this issue. There is much racism evident in the way pariah has been attacked on this forum - if he had questioned Madondo there would be no charges of racism. If he wants to question Curran's credentials he is allowed to do so, no one is above reproach, except for maybe Piet...

Re: Zimbabwe rising stars
Welcome to the new Africa. We spilled our blood in the revolution and now young guys come along and expect to be given the world in exchange for bending over for a few important people.

You guys no doubt all remember that I got the boys to change to a new kit last year. Unfortunately Hammy still looks like a coke can.

Re: Jongwe?
watermelon here, I like Makoni, you pay him enough money he will get anyone in the team. At least with guys you can bribe you know how to get things done and you know he doesn't care about actual cricket so there is nothing else to cloud his decision making. Jongwe is another lazy black - Zimbabwe i...

Re: Elton Chigumbura is being marginalised
Chakabva was again sabotaged by being forced to open again at the expense of his more rested teammates. Moor has been removed as a keeper to take the spotlight of him and to sell him as a batsman only. Regis is now the sacrificial lamb who will have to make way for Taylor when he returns from his fa...

Re: Brendan Taylor ??
Zimbabwean international cricekt fixtures aside - Taylor and Jarvis have three problems - ego, solidarity, and suitabilility. EGO Taylor has been restricted to List A, while Jarvis has been restricted to FC(dropped a number of times from FC too this season). So that meant a lot of 2nd XI cricket. U...

Re: Elton Chigumbura is being marginalised
watermelon here, i was motivated to revive this ZCF-favourite thread due to current events. With Chigumbura's defeat confirmed, it seems that the Cremer/Streak axis have moved on to marginalising Regis Chakabva. Batting him out of position, making him keep wicket, these guys are clearly playing with...

Re: [Match Thread] OnIy Test: SL vs ZIM
I'm of the firm view that Sibanda and hamilton Masakadza would have score d far more Test centuries for Zimbabwe if they batted 4 and 5 in internationals. They remain easily the best FC batsmen in ZImbabwe in my view. All I know is that Burl has opened or batted at first drop in FC in Zimbabwe, whi...

Re: Preferred Zimbabwe Cricket - Horrendous Zimbabwe
There's some merit. Hacks like hammy need to be chopped and placed with a guy like Burl at the top. Sink or swim. They say whites are better swimmers so surely this is a good strategy. The only fail to the theory is the assumption that opening is a burden. If you prefer the new ball then it doesn't ...
