Upcoming Fixtures

After the end of the Faithwear Cup (middle of June??...), do any Zim sides have any fixtures at all for the few months after that?

Re: favourite zim player

I like all the guys to be honest, but Ray Price is my favourite of the lot- I can't really explain why, but he is my hero. It has quite a lot to do with the story behind his early life because you'd think someone who had such bad coordination problems as he did wouldn't make it in any kind of sport...

Re: Series Thread: Logan Cup 'A' Division

I think that keegan meth is playing club cricket in ireland as he did last year What is ZC's attitude towards players doing this now?? I assume Meth isn't centrally contracted, so there isn't a lot that they can do to stop him. But he was in the selectors thoughts fairly recently, as he did play a ...

I noticed that Ed Rainsford was missing from Centrals' last match...

Whenever a Zim player is absent, it's always a worry... He might have gone to England, because i know he's played some club cricket in the past...

Re: Series Thread: Logan Cup 'A' Division

This is the first round of this season's competition where the standard of play has really come into question. Southerns and Centrals seem to have pretty weak batting line ups... Gary Brent is a solid bowler, and one of the best that Zim has at the moment. However, he doesn't really seem capable of ...

Re: Series Thread: Logan Cup 'A' Division

It seems to me that the Northerns bowling attack is, if anything, a little too strong. They have guys like Trevor Garwe and Admire Manyumwa, who have been regulars all season in the A-squad, and should therefore probably get the chance to take the new ball and bowl a lot of overs in a bit to strengt...

Re: [ Poll ] ZCF players of the series (Standard Bank Pro20)

Any news on Williams' injury? I get a bit jumpy when he's out of the side for a while, makes me think he'll run off to England...

Re: Series Thread: Logan Cup 'A' Division

Ngulube looks a good prospect. A hundred in the first game, now fifty against what is almost the national attack (Chigumbura, Brent, Price & Cremer).

Re: Series Thread: Logan Cup 'B' Division

Final result: Golds 102 (Takurasenga 29, Bwanya 5/23) & 58 Reds 49 (Ntuli 6/21) & 111 (Rizhibowa 29, Takurasenga 6/36) Match tied. Title goes to Reds, courtesy of their earlier innings win over Greens, and another good outing by Freedom Takurasenga. I'm surprised he's not in one of the full provinc...

Re: Series Thread: Logan Cup 'A' Division

I don't know anything about Tafafdzwa Ngulube. Fair play to him, the only century of the first round in a low scoring game, and still a teenager.
