Re: Ashes 2023
I think Bairstow was daft for wandering out of his crease, but it was a cheap shot to run him out like that. I know the Australian media has been saying Bairstow tried the same thing with Labuschagne and Warner, but that's very disingenuous as they were batting out of their crease and trying to gai...

Re: Ashes 2023
I'm not going to even get into the Bairstow dismissal but I cannot believe all these Aussies comıng out saying the Starc catch was fair. He literally pushed the ball along the ground. Fingers not under the ball, ball pushed along the ground. How can it possibly be a fair catch? The ball is not supp...

Re: Ashes 2023
Thoughts on the Bairstow dismissal? Personally I think it is pretty poor. I don't have a problem with the mankad as the non-striker is trying to gain an unfair advantage but it Bairstow's case he wasn't gaining anything by walking down the wicket. He was careless and should have known better, but i...

I don't think they do tbh. Take out all their foreign born players and they would seriously struggle.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 7:01 amThey produce plenty.
Their home internationals last year when their county players were unavailable, the squad was majority homegrown.

Re: Zimbabwe Vs West Indies | 2nd Test | 12-16 Feb 2023 | Bulawayo
Imo, it's a bit harsh to say Williams was a mediocre batter before 2016. I've watched a lot of Zimbabwe cricket over the years and Williams always looked like he belonged at international level. He would often get 1 or 2 fifties in an odi series but not kick on and get hundreds. As a consequence his...

The signs were there for all to see in the warm up match what happens when you select these calibre of players. Shumba Makoni and friends all failing. Notably the one player to stand up was Maruma and he wasnt selected. Campbell can count himself unfortunate not to be selected. Maruma is not the an...

Re: Gary ballance bombshell switch
Did someone say he was not a good T20 player? He apparently just smashed 95 runs off 25 balls in a game against Northumberland. He's the type of player that could make a significant difference to the team, ala Goodwin and Johnson in the late 90s It's a great effort but bear in mind Northumberland i...

No, just no.Kriterion_BD wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 3:56 pmCremer would never have been able to take 3-14 against a side like Afghanistan. Burl is probably on par with Cremer in terms of spin bowling.

I haven't interacted much with Maehara Or BRM Taylor, but maehara on his forum profile has a link to his personal twitter and his last tweet is in Feb this year. If anyone who knows him can probably look to interact with him on Twitter. Yeah just saw that myself. Says he's an IT guy and he retweete...
