Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Test, Dhaka

BT is not the best gloveman, Murray is. You might be right but I haven't seen enough if Murray to say that with confidence plus he isn't available for selection atm. From reports Mayavo from the Rhinos has the best pair of hands behind the stumps but obviously not as good a batsman. One swallow doe...

Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Test, Dhaka

From the bit of what I have seen of Chari in his 48 balls 25 runs so far is clear potential. He does have shots too, proper ones. He is no Vusi Sibanda but he might yet be more successful than him. Somebody conceded that he has so far been picked by successive coaches. I see what they saw in him. Wh...

As I type here he walks in now so maybe I will watch him properly this time.

Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Test, Dhaka

Shame the boys let a good start slip but the pitch seems great to bat on once the shine goes off it, can the rookie & Fizz get the same movement that Jarvis & Chatara did? Fizz is good but he’s not a conventional swing bowler. Miss chances killed the boys the Chari one was tough but it costs Zimbab...

Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Test, Dhaka

Lost that session badly but it is perfect for batting now. Looking back had Chari caught that and the umpire given Mushy out LBW we would have almost certainly killed the game in the first session. I only see success coming from the new ball here. Jarvis and Chatara need to rest until then. Its goi...

Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Test, Dhaka

Well, Ervine did score more in a single innings in SL last year than Chari's entire Test tally. I don't think it's that much of a fringe stance to say that Ervine would have been a better bet than Chari in this series. A guaranteed failure, that's what he would have been. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHIN...

Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Test, Dhaka

I am really perplexed by this fixation on Brian Chari. The boy has only two two innings to prove himself and half the time he is inactive becuase of as he doesn't play ODI cricket for the country. Now if you guys proffered those reasons for why you didn't want him in the side I would understand. Bu...

Re: Ministerial faux-pas.

This is such a non issue. I've seen twitter and people are making it an issue because she is white, BT is white, and it just happens to be that Hammy is the captain. From what I've seen on the field, I wouldn't be surprised if it was BT making most of the on field calls. Had Cremer been captain, no...
