Re: Drugs bans
Serious professional athletes are not using recreational drugs. This drug culture needs to be weeded out, pun intended, as fast as possible.

Re: U19 World Cup | South Africa | Jan-Feb 2024
I'm very close to giving up on cricket altogether. Where is the fun? It's the same old India, Eng, Aus that keep getting stronger and others are just making up the numbers. Some flashes here and there from South Africa and New Zealand. The FTP is totally crap. The big three play each other non stop...

Namibia of course have geographical issues that ZImbabwe doesn't, the country is very large and sparsely populated. The white population is mostly concentrated in a few urban centres, but not entirely. I wonder how they keep track of rural talent?

Re: State of SA
The SA20 for me is the most entertaining T20 league. The IPL is too long, the BBL lacks star power, the SA20 has stars and is over and done with fairly promptly.

Re: U19 World Cup | South Africa | Jan-Feb 2024
Since SA announced their support of Hamas and took Israel to the ICC R1.4 trillion rand has been withdrawn from SA. That's enough to put a massive dent in their already bankrupt economy. 195 countries on the planet and SA choose to be the ones to make a statement. I guess since they themselves kill...

Re: What is Zimbabwe Crickets ceiling?
Paul Strang was pretty awesome as a bowler and often overlooked in the list of previous greats. I think Zimbabwe's ceiling is always hovering 7-10 territory.

Re: Excessive injuries onfield
How rarely do we see Williams, Raza, and Ervine all on the field at the same time? One of Williams or Ervine is usually nursing a strain of some sort.
