Re: [ Match Thread ] Zimbabwe Tour Of Bangladesh 2020 | 1st T20 | ZIM V/s BD | Mirpur

I think Thsuma has a lot of potential. He’s got a lovely action, and has the ability to hit the mid 130’s. He’s worth sticking with for sure. It’s a shame that we only ever really play on wickets in Zim, Bangladesh or the UAE. Spinners wickets, making it tough for our batters and our fast bowlers. ...

The problem here is the bowling. that's it. You can't expect any player to improve playing against such weak bowlers. We need a complete revamp.

My Gawd. 4 overs in and I have already formed these opinion. Taylor is giving off a disinterested vibe. Don’t be surprised if he retires when his contract runs out. K long looks like a tail ender out there. Yes he’s hit a few 4’s, but they are wild swings and he’s going to get himself out cheaply. ...

Re: Match Thread | Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe 3rd ODI 2020 | Sylhet

The problem with our premium batsmen is that they are predictable. Very repetitive. Top teams have video analysts. You know BT will try reverse within 10 deliveries. Raza will try double step and hit a 6, he also rarely ducks a short ball. Ervine is weak just outside off stump early on. Williams is ...

Re: Match Thread | Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe 3rd ODI 2020 | Sylhet

Flat tracks also show how incompetent our bowling coach is. Has our death bowling even slightly improved over the last 5 years? I know people call out lots of non-per formers but I think I have to personally start the movement to bring awareness to the fact that Douglas Hondo has been part of this ...

Re: Match Thread | Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe 3rd ODI 2020 | Sylhet

I think flat tracks are exposing how bad our bowling is. This should be the big lesson learnt here. They really show that the likes of Raza are not frontline bowlers. We often mistake them for being class spinners but their stregnth is their batting. This also showed we ain't got much coming through...

Gary Brent is also a good coach with decent facilities as we have seen

Shumba on 69. I hope he gets his century. That would be a big statement. I feel like both Wes and Shumba should be play In for the Rangers to balance out the domestic sides. BT Jarvis Wes Shumba Chitumba Campbell Mudzinganyama Macheka. That's a team.

Re: Jeremy ives

When did Zim domestic become the be all and end all on whether a guy is capable of playing for Zim? It's not like it is a well functioning one with high quality, so quite frankly, I don't think we can be closing ourselves off to having only home based players. In theory you are correct but I'm talk...
