Re: Zimbabwe Vs Namibia | ICC T20 Qualifier | 22 November 2023
Look at how damp that square is. It's not damp, it's wet! Seriously favors the side batting second. Then they bowled accurate dibbly dobbly seamers and good spin. Did the same to us in the warm-ups. Barely a shit delivery. I'm not sure we learnt anything from those warm up games last month. Our batt...

Re: 2023 ODI World Cup Discussion
Namibia's gun opener has had to apply for leave from his work to play in these qualifiers! Who is the gun opener ? Van lingen or Nico Davin ? How good is Shaun fouche . Even JP Kotze is back now Both are good, but Van Lingen really gets after it. Don't know Fouche. Ya they've got a good side.

Re: 2024 U-19 World Cup format change!
2 week camp in India is now pointless if WC is in SA.

Re: UK PLayers in Zim?
Well the actual thread is probably about anyone with zim heritage playing anywhere else or not even playing at all but could potentially add something of value to our system. I'm sure there are some sharp South African guys that could claim ancestry that nobody knows about. The number of people orig...

When Evans gets back from injury this time around only some lop sided selections will keep Luke in the loop. He's had a free ride at Evans' expense a few times. Brad has had some chances which he hasn't capitalised on, but a few more opportunities and he will cement himself. His bowling has improved...

Re: 2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier Regional Final
Chris Mpofu is still not to be sneered at, I tell you. Everyone wants to plan for the future, but if the man is still bowling well you can't take it away from him. If Anderson can do it then so can Chris. Not that I'm talking Larry down, he can have good days. Then of course there's TK, if only he h...

Re: 2023 ODI World Cup Discussion
ICC should factor in who has a surplus of cash at year end and not just who brings in what. Another factor to be considered is corporate sponsorship. The big teams bring in millions. We of course have practically zero, partly due to a grossly mismanaged economy, a complete lack of interest in cricke...

Re: 2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier Regional Final
In theory we should beat Namibia, providing we bowl well up front. That Van Lungen guy is their main threat and he can be kept quiet by tight body-line bowling. He struggled against Ngarava, so Blessing hopefully is an additional problem for him. We then have an extra batter with Williams and possib...
