I was there about 8 months ago and the problem was the crickets, there was a burrow every square meter, they'd invaded the place.
Crickets stopped play.

... only in Zim ;)

Wellington wicketless in almost 50 overs

Well done Madande. Let's hope it's not just a one-off.

He has more or less come from nowhere this season. I don't even recall him playing much for the U19s.

A young wk in FC to get slightly excited about; that's something. :)

Re: Logan Cup 3-6 Nov | Rocks V Mountaineers | Eagles V Tuskers

Makoni a duck first ball from the gasman Chivanga - way too quick for him. He does really seem to have some pace, and bounce. On a good bowling deck imagine having Blessing, Ngarava and Chivanga all playing. That could be lethal. Maybe if we produce a sloping pitch like that created by the dangling...

Re: Logan Cup 3-6 Nov | Rocks V Mountaineers | Eagles V Tuskers

Larry is a walking wicket. How he survived even 5 overs of Blessing and Chisoro and Raza is beyond me. There are clearly runs on offer this season. Yeah that makes this partnership all the more special. Larry was slightly lucky that Blessing was taken off before he had faced a ball from him; when B...

Here's a conspiracy theory though. Did Houghton know about these ramifications coming for Ballance and is that the reason why he chose to work with ZC again so that he can attempt to bring Ballance back to Zim? :)

First FC 50 for Chatara. COME ON LARRY! :D
100 partnership between Larry and Wellington also up.

Brings a smile to my face, but it also makes one think about the quality of the bowling.

I know that face. It's definitely one of the current u19 kids but can't recall who exactly. I'm going to take a punt on Rogan Wolhuter but I'm probably wrong. Yes, Rogan Wolhuter it is. Off the mark with a tentative push for one :) eugene: 65 CrimsonAvenger: 63 foreignfield: 61 zimfan1: 36 Ming: 34...

600. This young man looks as if he wants to audition for an American teenage movie set in the fifties, but apparently he is also a talented cricketer. Who is he?

Re: Logan Cup 27-30 Oct | Mountaineers V Eagles | Tuskers V Rhinos

Again, I was quite sure that the safest partnership for Mountaneers would come from Don and Wellington. That is bad that lineup is. Wellington is actually becoming a very dependable batsman to put up about 30 or so runs every time he walks out to bat. Wellington out for 48, but I feel he's only a f...
