Re: [Match Thread] BCB XI vs Zimbabweans (Tour Match)
What pace does Keegan Meth operate at? And what kind of a bowler is he? Does he rely on swing or seam? Also same questions for S Masakadza... IMO, i think this would be the best XI for ZIM, keeping this match in mind: 1) H Masakadza 2) Taylor 3) Taibu + 4) C Ervine 5) Chibabha 6) Chigumbura * 7) K M...

Re: [Match Thread] BCB XI vs Zimbabweans (Tour Match)
thats true, our last tour to zimbabwe we were CRUSHED by the tour match team and ended up handing a 4-1 thrashing subsequently. then 2 months later when zimbabwe toured a year back, they lost the opener at Savar to our Academy team, and ended up winning the first ODI by a handsome margin of 5 wicket...

Re: [Match Thread] BCB XI vs Zimbabweans (Tour Match)
BCB XI - 223/9 (50 overs, Saghir 49, Asif 46)
Innings Break
I think Zimbabweans should fancy their chances here, but NZ had recently failed to chase 174 in Bangladeshi wickets.

A Bangladeshi view (ZIM in BD, Dec 2010)
I feel like I can offer some insights into this series, from a BD perspective. Thoughts and analyses from the ZIM fans here are expected... Series Outcome and Predictions I don't want to make concrete predictions because at the end of the day it doesn't matter what the spreads are, the game is playe...

Re: Masakadza Confident after Bangla Touchdown
I hope Sakib remains quite as he speaks too much at times without realizing the thin demarcation of confidence and over-confidence I think thats an unfair assessment of Sakib, IMHO. The reason being that I can only remember two questionable things he's said, and both times he was correct. He predic...

Re: Masakadza Confident after Bangla Touchdown
To be honest I think a 3-2 Bangladesh series win would be a good result for this Zimbabwe team. Our batsmen aren't great at playing spin and Bangladesh are very confident after hammering a New Zealand team that is better than the current Zimbabwe team. I'd agree...I would have accepted a similar 2-...

Re: Masakadza Confident after Bangla Touchdown
the good news, eugene, is that our wickets are not as flat as the ones you saw in South Africa. the bad news of course is if they make a raging turner (with bounce) at Chittagong, you might get shot out for 43 all out this time. I'd be lying if I was expecting anything other than a win. Conservative...
