Re: [Logan Cup] Rhinos V Tuskers & Rocks V Goats
Presuming the Cricinfo commentary is right, Querl, after not taking the second new ball yesterday evening and again not bowling this morning (maybe he had been off the field to get some treatment?) has now bowled 15 overs on the trot after lunch ... Captain, my captain!

Re: [Logan Cup] Rhinos V Tuskers & Rocks V Goats
I'm eagerly awaiting the match reports from Masvingo. Events at Kwekwe are not less remarkable. Rhinos loose their first 13 wickets for less than 100 runs, then the next two put on 400  A good supporting knock by Mugava, who is really developing into a bowling all rounder (by Zim standards) a...

Looking at the scores, they might as well be playing on a potato patch. 32 wickets in two days and counting ...hhm wrote:Goats 0/2 after 3 balls. The superb Panyangara snuffed them both up for ducks!

Re: [Logan Cup] Rhinos V Tuskers & Rocks V Goats
And now Waller get's his ton. Well done! I don not have the complete Logan Cup recors at hand, but I believe this is a new record for the fourth wicket for Midlands/Rhinos (253* as I write) beating the 242 by S. Ervine and Wishart back in 2002/03. New ball only a few overs away, could be decisive. ....

Re: [Logan Cup] Rhinos V Tuskers & Rocks V Goats
taylor in the nervous nineties....good to see waller cash in some runs....go rhinos!!! :D :D :4: Taylor get's there in style. What a fightback by these two, the partnership currently worth 211*. Puts the previous efforts of everyone else into some perspective. With their longish tail one feels Tayl...

Re: [Logan Cup] Rhinos V Tuskers & Rocks V Goats
Goats are struggling big time against the Rocks. In other news the Tuskers are turning into something like the Zim equivalent of the famous four-pronged Windies pace attack. But whenever Meth turns to his part-time spinners, Taylor's and Wallers' eyes light up: Ali's first over went for 14, Williams...

Re: is Zimbabwe Cricket doing enough to keep our young stars
Shingi, Chatara and Tiripano are very much a proven pace attack -- of course it is difficult to break into the side for a young player like C. Price, and it should be. He was probably unlucky that Tiripano whose season had been off-colour suddenly started taking wickets. Saying that, I also feel sor...
