Re: Gary ballance bombshell switch
It’s not kids sport, I’d be picking this best available. Whilst Loyalty is good, as long as the new players aren’t flogs and are willing to get involved in improving the future I can’t see a problem. The more success the more sponsorship and tv deals the more money to go round. Or maybe the more mon...

Re: Bangladesh squads for ZIM tour
Just reading an article in The Weekend Australian titled ‘out of the ashes: The rebirth of Zimbabwe’ Houghton is interviewed and says “he’d like to see English internationals Sam and Ben Curran and county players Mick Welsh and Gary Ballance pull on the red and yellow of their home country” Looks li...

Re: Dave Houghton Head Coach
Well it's not a struggle here if you are on a national team contract! Those guys are getting handsomely paid nowadays. Moor's family is very rich anyway - they have fingers in a lot of pies, gambling/bookies especially. And ya times are tough and the problems are endless here but it's still a bette...

Re: Afghanistan tour of Zimbabwe Jun 2022
i am really disappointed with Zim performance against Namibia. Against Afghans Zim should announce strong & healthy Playing XI : T Marumani, Innocent Mbangwa, W Medhevere, C Ervine, S Raza, Ali Aqil, Enamuel Bawa, Dalian Hondo, Brad Evans, N.Nungu, Chikanga And here's the next prick, one has to bel...

Re: Future tour rumours
Australia is set to host Zimbabwe for 3 ODIs in September, ZC are also pushing for a test or 3 T20s which CA is unlikely to agree for due to their busy schedule but the 3 ODIs will go ahead. Before that ZC will host India for 3 ODIs in August. https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/zimbabwe-s-bid-for-t...

Re: Logan Cup: Eagles v Mountaineers & Tuskers v Rhinos (6th-9th Feb)
Keep an eye on Taffy Mupariwa, has been playing in Australia and making big runs over the last couple of years. His average does not do his talent justice and he has scored some decent runs in the last two games. Captain too! Taffy only averaged mid 20s in Tasmania (played with Tawanda in Hobart). ...

Re: 2022 U19 World Cup Thread
Not a peep on any official page about it either. The most I've seen is them being called starlets. I mean thsts not even non-binary. Its a Men's team ffs. It's embarrassing. Googly you write some random stuff! There’s a podcast in Australia called ‘You cannot be serious’, right up your alley ...
