Borthwick is such a wimp bowler. Putting himself on against the last batsman. Happened a few times now.
Barely bowls in red ball cricket these days. But having a wristspinner to use against a tail that is being a little stubborn is always a good option.

Re: Durham tour of Zimbabwe

Actually... that was a pretty disappointing performance, in my opinion. That was far from a full strength Durham side, with a lot of raw kids in their side. They are also straight out of UK winter and indoor nets, whereas all the Zim A side have been in good form in regular recent matches in home co...

Ackerman jumped from the sinking Leicestershire ship and he won't make the Durham first team, he'll play his last two years of professional cricket in County Two's unless there's a double injury.
He will definitely play Durham 1s. He'll be a key player for them.

Re: Durham tour of Zimbabwe

Won the toss and we are batting. Durham: Michael Jones, Scot Borthwick, Ben MicKinney, Colin Ackermann, John Bushnell, Graham Clark, Haydon Mustard, Ben Raine, Callum Parkinson, Oli Gobson and Stan McAdlndon. Looks like an 11 vs 11 match which is good. Actual first class match, which is also good. ...

Anyone have an idea who will be in the Durham line-up?
For sure they will be without Wood, Stokes. I doubt they will have de Leede and Beddingham. Otherwise, you'd have thought most will be there. Matt Potts was a real handful last year.

Re: Durham tour of Zimbabwe

Would have been good to see Ben Curran there too, just to keep him interested in sticking around. I still think he could be an option in a year or two as an opener. He's done two full seasons now and it would appear he is willing to put in those hard yards He's just signed a deal to play UK club cr...

Why is Matt Welch not in this...
Literally playing in a First Class match that clashes with it.
