Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v India: 1st ODI
I have a sneaky suspicion we might scrap a win here but I won't be able to catch any stream coz I'll be flying (but it's all good, I tend to miss the games we win :) ) If we do that, it'll catch the Indians' attention and with potential chance to raise IPL eyebrows, I hope the guys capitalise. Havin...

Indian tour clashes with the elections
I haven't seen this raised anywhere but the Indians play Zim right in the middle of election campaigning, and worse the 4th ODI is on Election Day. I doubt there'll be violence and such but no doubt the attention of most people and media will be on the politics. Wouldn't that undermine the series? B...

Re: 2019 World Cup structure
The world cup farce is due to elitist attitudes. In America do you think the NFL worries themselves about whether the Dallas Cowboys reach the Superbowl? The Superbowl is the Superbowl, regardless of who plays in it - because teams get there by winning. The fact that ICC frets over India's progress ...

Re: Greg Lamb quits cricket
Losing guys like these devalues the whole domestic game. Even if Lamb himself was not recalled into the national team, his involvement ensures that youngsters learn from him and that stats resemble ability. Shame.

Can he still correct it? How long would that take and would he still be as effective?

Re: Which format do you most enjoy watching Zimbabwe play?
We are actually a more competitive team in Tests than ODI and T20 (at least for the past 3 or 4 years) so I voted Test.

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v Bangladesh: Both T20Is
So two things that ensure a win happened again: I missed all the action and Crismson did his reverse jinx thing of his. It's got to come from the heart though Crimson. Don't tell me Panyangara will be bowling the last over. That's ridiculous. Did the reverse jinxing help? :) I'm ready to eat the hum...

I do like this line up too. I just hope the confidence doesn't evaporate against stronger sides.FlowerPower wrote: But this is a good middle order in the making. 3. Hami 4. Taylor 5. Williams 6. Waller
