Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

Mpofu now has a 6-fer... on a hattrick for the final ball of the innings.

Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

Take note Prosper, Mpofu is a strike bowler. Hamilton Masakadza is not.

Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

Too little too late, more foolish captaincy by Utseya. Should have got Mpofu on 15 overs ago.

Tikolo got his hundred, good on him. He is a class act, I always hoped he'd get the chance to play in a Test but that won't happen now.

Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

Utseya is clueless... if Mpofu doesn't bowl the next over (and every over thereafter) he cannot complete his 10.

It's Russian roulette to count on that, Mpofu should have bowled this over to give Utseya some breathing space (say he wanted to change ends?).

Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

37.5 Utseya to Obanda, OUT, deceived by the turn and bowled through the gate
A Obanda b Utseya 71 (100b 6x4 3x6) SR: 71.00
Needed that

Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

It was only going to be a matter of time before a 2 man pace attack failed on us. Probably Mupariwa back in the side for Maruma in the next match. Now Masakadza's bowling... geez, get Mpofu on, he's still got 4 overs!

Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

Time to try something different, it doesn't looks like we are going to take wickets with Dabengwa or Chigumbura at the moment. Maybe throwing the ball to Mpofu is an option. I don't think the third powerplay has been used yet either? Obviously that is why Price hasn't been allowed to bowl his final ...

Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

This is stupid, 2/144... Kenya are hopeless, why are the bowlers giving away so many runs?

Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

And Tikolo just had to go and hit a four

Still 6-4-7-0 is still looking pretty good... another 4 maidens and he will equal his record from Friday

Re: Match Thread: Kenya v Zimbabwe (& Kenya v Ireland)

And in the Zimbabwe vs Kenya game:
6.2 Price to Obuya, OUT
S Waters run out 20 (22b 4x4 0x6) SR: 90.90
A wicket maiden to start with for Price, and that is a big wicket. Mpofu is bowling well it seems from the other end.
