Re: Zimbabwe vs Papua New Guinea T20 Qualifier 2020
I think he is pressing the button to go for it now. They have 9 wickets in hand and 9 overs left, should easily get another 100 runs if mot slightly more from here.

Re: State of SA
I think those SA guys who have registered for the bbl have done so with express permission to leave in order to take part in the SA comp once that begins, but I could be wrong. The whole thing is disgusting imo, CSA have tried to alpha Australia for what happened for the test series and now with the...

Yeah completely agree with you there Donald, I think complacency was the norm under Rajput but I just don't see Houghton tolerating that sort of environment with the amount of experience he has had both as a player and a coach, especially haven been working on the county circuit in the UK.

Re: Zimbabwe vs Papua New Guinea T20 Qualifier 2020
I think Dave Houghtons message coming into the team telling them that they should be demolishing associate teams and winning this tournament is having some good impacts on players - especially the senior guys - yeah they haven't chased a total yet but they have comfortably won the first 3 games and ...

Re: ICC T20 World Cup 2022 [ Australia ] : Qualifiers
Jongwe seems to me to be a Zimbabwean Andile Phehlukwayo, a bowling all rounder with no real pace but that ability to pick up wickets and bat occasionally well. Unfortunately just like his SA counterpart is liable to regular bad days at the office but in reality is too important to leave out entirely.

Re: Zimbabwe vs Singapore T20 qualifier 2022
I won't lie, having watched today I reckon selecting an extra seamer wouldn't be a bad call, the Singaporean batters looked so out of their depth against chatara and muzarabani and I wouldn't be surprised if the other oppo are likewise aside from probably NL

Re: Zimbabwe vs Singapore T20 qualifier 2022
These Singapore batters look dreadful, playing any missing virtually every ball. Had no idea with that Muzarabani over, was way too quick for them

Re: Dave Houghton Head Coach
He seems to bowl quite short as his natural length which at his pace is plenty quick enough at the current domestic level but I'm not sure how well that would translate internationally really - he reminds me of a right arm George Garton alot actually
