Signing Byrom was the best thing they’ve done.
One big score amidst plenty of famine(by the un-ordinary Byrom) then an extended paid holiday because you cut the cut the calendar short or postponed it to when he's absent.

I agree, it was the best thing competent Hasnain approved!

Re: Your XI for Boxing Day

Mpofu may not be the most destructive bowler but he does serve a purpose in test cricket - he can keep things tight and limit runs from one end. Chatara, Jarvis, and Cremer typically go for a few so having someone who can limit runs the other end is useful. Chatara has a career Test bowling econ of...

Mohammad Eqlakh faces deportation from Zimbabwe: https://www.dailynews.co.zw/articles/2017/12/23/mountaineers-indian-batsman-faces-deportation It is absolutely crazy to think that he went ahead and played without proper work visa! Re: [Match Thread] Tour Match - Zimbabwe v Cricket South Africa XI

Cmon man we genuinely nearly beat windies if we could hold our grabs. They're genuinely putrid , I watched both tests vs NZ and it was almost rape. With Gabriel bowling 10nowies a day to stuff up holders over rate and get suspended. The whole series was a lol Wagner bowling 130 short balls that the...

(and as you said in the other thread he has been our best player across all formats for over a year). Credit where it's due. Stats don't lie. But sometimes hard decision have to be taken. Cremer, Mire and Jarvis are bad picks for this game. They don't have the tools. You will watch him again live o...

It's not great for any Test team to lose a tour match, but it was our first time playing the pink ball. Hopefully they learn from the experience and try and bat time on Boxing Day.
That's unfair and you know it.

it was also these kids' first time.

Re: [Match Thread] Tour Match - Zimbabwe v Cricket South Africa XI

If we're to trouble SA at all, Cremer will need to pick up a couple of bags so if there's one player we want in good form leading up the Boxing Day it's him. Cremer took 20 overs to get 4 wickets at 3.35 in the 1st innings. He'll need at least 60 overs against the Proteas to get anywhere near there...
